I haven't had the chance to use this with a wireless AC router yet, so I can't comment on how fast it can go, but overall it's a solid and simple piece of hardware that does its job well. My only issue is that it's inconsistent when the computer wakes up from sleep mode - it won't always connect again and when it doesn't, nothing but a full computer restart is guaranteed to fix it. Sometimes enabling / disabling devices or drivers does the trick, but not always. Difficult to say whether this is a problem with the adapter or Windows, but frustrating nonetheless.
