Cons:Monitor had pink streaks develop after 4 months of use...Stand is shakes every time you type (tightening the screws on the bottom dose NOT help)Asus customer support has a 2 hour hold time.

This monitor was okay when I first purchased it. The stand was a big setback because I assumed ASUS was a great company. Then the screen had pink streaks develop across it making the monitor unusable and in need of repair. Luckily ASUS support was their to help (after a two hour wait). All they wanted me to do is fill out tons of online paperwork and pay the shipping to have it repaired. This monitor is not worth a penny in my opinion. |

I bought two of these monitors so that I can optimize my work (SolidWorks and Autodesk Maya). I have been using them also to watch movies and play video games and they all run smoothly without any problems. The monitors are very light and don't generate much heat. If you are looking for a great inexpensive monitor, especially if you want a dual setup I highly recommend the Asus VS238H-P. |

I've just tried to make a RMA on this model and it was refused, it seems I don't have reach the total "amount" of dead pixel required for Asus/Ncix to consider it defective. I'm stuck with a dead "cyan" pixel. I'm really disappointed and NCIX cannot do anything for me. Gaming and even worse, looking at movie because of the dead pixel is horrible. I always see this cyan spot in my screen. I've made every dead pixel revival test, and I cannot make it work.I won't buy again any Asus Lcd monitor, as their policy of minimum 5 dead pixel is not satisfactory for me. |
