ASUS VS278Q-P 27IN Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Monitor 1920X1080 1MS 80M:1 HDMI DisplayPort Speakers
Cons:ATI driver had GPU scaling down 15% for some reason creating a windowed mode which was easily checked back to 0% and Fullscreen. Not a big problem and quickly remedied in catalyst under > My digital flat panels > Flat panels properties.
Pros:Nice big clear screen. |

This was a big upgrade from an 8 year old 1980x1200 Dell 2405fpw 24". My eyes can now read without squinting at native resolution. The slight loss of vertical resolution combined with a bigger screen did not result in any loss of graphics quality in gaming and text is nice and crisp and proper sized for reading. For the price its unmatched. While probably one of the last TN panels, the IPS price doesnt quite justify the added costs. Get one of these while you can! Its nice and bright default and I bought that down to 40% for reading comfort. Some have complained about the base but I find it as sturdy as my old Dell. Assembly and installation was a snap.
