ASUS X99-A ATX LGA2011-3 X99 DDR4 SLI WiFi 4XPCI-E16 2XPCI-E1 SATA3 USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:pricey
Pros:solid board Comment:
kinda hesitated between this and the 60$ cheaper MSI Sli plus.Ended up going ASUS and I don't regret it. However, paying 300$ for a board still feels like too much. This is mostly Intel's fault I presume. |

As far a X99 motherboards go, this is the best bang for the buck.I have had no worries at all.I got a Asus X99-A motherboard with an Intel 5820k cpu and a NZXT Kraken X31 cooler.Even though I am overclocking for the first time, it wasn't as scary as I though it would be.I am now happy to have overclocked it to a stable 4.4ghz... :) |

Although A series boards are supposed to be budget boards for a platform, it still contains ample ports and features found on higher end boards. great buy |
In my opinion the best board for X99 for the money, you get tons of connections and killer features. I was able to overclock my 5820K to 4.5ghz at 1.31V using this board.
