ASUS Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 DVI HDMI Motherboard
Cons:ram slots right under HSF
Pros:Amazing Bios, lots of features Comment:
This is a pretty solid mobo. Ive been an ASUS fan for years and it really seems like theyve stepped up their game with this one. With the new UEFI bios the features and customization are unrivaled. Also due to the UEFI bios most of the overclocking features are available through windows and the ASUS utility. I would recommend this mobo for anyone not looking to do any crazy overclocks but it should be suitable for gaming enthusiasts and low level overclocks. |

ASUS Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 DVI HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Could use more USB 3.0 internal headers
Pros:Great build quality, Wi-Fi, plenty of USB 3.0 ports Comment:
No problems at all with mine, very easy to set up. Make sure you plug in the Wi-Fi antenna as your system will still detect Wi-Fi without it but the signal will be virtually unusable. |

ASUS Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 DVI HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Could use more Sata cables (only comes with 4).
Pros:Good amount of features for the price including some cool software Comment:
I have heard lots of good things about Asus and their motherboards (I have several other Asus products) so I thought to try them for my new computer build. One of the main points of interest for me was their software suite that included a fan controlling program (Fan Xpert 2). It allows you to control and make profiles of how your fan operates based on temps around your computer. Wifi Go is another neat program allowing for file transfers and other goodies. |

ASUS Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 DVI HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Expensive
Pros:WiFi and BluetoothLooks greatWorks greatAsus's great build quality Comment:
I got this board with an i5-4670k. I needed a board with wifi AP and overclocking ready. Asus always make high quality products that you must pay a premium for. UEFI bios is both easy to use and allows a lot of tweaking and customization. Would recommend to anyone who wants to use wifi and/or bluetooth, and even you don't it's still a great board if you can pay the premium for. |

ASUS Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 DVI HDMI Motherboard
Cons:none
Pros:- Asus quality- Price- All the awesome features Asus packed into this mobo Comment:
Got this bundled with an i7 4770k for about $420 and couldn't be happier with it. The AI Suite 3 tools Asus provides are awesome and will save you a ton of time overclocking and messing around in your BIOS. Installation was a breeze and the overall build quality is fantastic. I heard rumours that the onboard wifi isn't the greatest, which one might expect, but after having it a week now without a single connection issue I'm very impressed. I was going to run a cable to hardwire the computer, but I don't think I'm going to bother. For anyone wondering about the chipset revision, I ordered mine on black friday and got one with the C2 revision of the z87 chipset, so no USB 3 issues .. YAY! (confirmed with CPU-Z). The barcode on my box started with D8, indicating it was manufactured in August. If you want to check yours, make sure you get the latest version of CPU-Z because the Asus version on the included drivers disc does not recognize that it's the new chipset. |

Works fantastic so far. I suggest going to the ASUS website to get all the latest driver updates and BIOS images though. The automatic over clocking options work pretty solid as well. |

Cons:Doesn't say to install after market cpu fan before install of the main motherboard
Pros:Clear instructions on installing Comment:
First time buying a motherboard and installing it myself. The instructions were very clear and not once was I confused on what to do next. After the install, the software install was simple and easy, simply but the disc in and install the drivers from there. Had it up and running in 30 mins after the hardware install. |

ASUS Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 DVI HDMI Motherboard
Cons:dont really like the black and gold scheme
Pros:many features, looks sick Comment:
I was going to get the sabertooth board instead but Im glad i didnt because it doesnt have much features except the TUF armor that you are mostly spending more money on. The z87 overclocks the i7-4770k to 4.8 with no problem. No problems with Asus boards, I only buy their motherboards |

ASUS Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 DVI HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Poor USB devices recognitionProblematic WiFi Go feature
Pros:Tons of features Comment:
Asus motherboards are usually solid performers. I've used more than half a dozen of them without major issues through the years. That's why I chose Asus Z87 Pro when I assembled a new build. It boasts tons of features. You could browse through the list in product description yourself. Quite a few of them are Asus exclusive. Impressive indeed, only if they work.Problem arose almost right from the beginning. The computer would have intermittent problem recognizing USB devices such as USB keyboard and USB drives. It's hit and miss. Flashing the newest BIOS kind of solved this problem. Then, nightmare began when I upgraded to Windows 8.1. The computer would start itself after shutdown. It took me almost a week to track down the problem to Asus' WiFi Go feature, which among other things, lets your mobile devices control your computer. I used SysInternals' Autoruns to disable it and no more auto-start since then.I was going to give it two stars, but changed it to three, since I can't ascertain the real blame. Was it Asus' fault, or Micorsoft's? |

Cons:AI Suite automated overclocking is not a very reliable tool
Pros:Good motherboardIncludes wifi Comment:
Bought it to build a mid-range gaming computer. Satisfied with the features of the board, LED diagnostic feature, dedicated reset button directly on the motherboard are very handy features. The included wifi is a great additional feature. |
Good board no doubt, but you can find much better values out there for half the price
