Pros:It's a great motherboard, very sturdy. The heatsinks are not ugly yellow like the previous series so that is a definite plus. The wifi module also lights up green-activity, and blue- bluetooth activity. Placement of the ports are excellent! Very satisfied |

Pros:No more yellow headers and a nicer gold on the heatsinksFeature rich Z97 in ITX form factorSuper fast M.2 socket on back of mobo for ssd, faster speeds/less cablesWifi and Bluetooth Comment:
Been running on FM2 for far too long, was time for an upgrade, needed an awesome little itx mobo to go with the 4770K and a Plextor M.2 ssd I just bought. I considered the maximus vi Impact but was a bit too pricey, checked out the z87i right price but needed M.2 and then I found the Z97I-plus which has everything I need for a reasonable price.Something I really like about the Z97 boards is the use of a more subtle gold color on the heatsinks and they don't have the yellow headers the Z87 boards had. |
Other comments:This is the darker PCB, not brown like some other models. (This motherboard comes in both colors)
