This is definitely an excellent ultrabook and I am very satisfied with my purchase. It is insanely thin, light weight, and the battery lasts a long time, even with wifi turned on and normal use. I bought this as a business laptop for my work. I sometimes have to go to client sites so portability and battery life were top issues. As a system to develop on, with 2 external video ports I can setup multiple monitors and work away without hassle.

I bought this machine for my sister and she absolutely loves it. I have had several hours of use on it and it's pretty much perfect for this class of device. She has been using it extensively without a single problem. The one word summary from her is, "LOVE!"Plenty of power here for browsing, office-type work and/or school work, entertainment/media consumption, etc.The hardware is basically extraordinary. It's a perfect PC-version of the MacBook Air and less expensive than the comparable Apple computer too. It's amazingly slim, very rigid and strong, soft and smooth to the touch and it looks exceptional. Everyone who sees it loves it immediately.My only complaints are with the input. The keys on the keyboard are relatively snappy so they require that you type with purpose. It's nothing but personal preference, though. I prefer a more spongy feel - you'll get used to the snappy keys. The trackpad is excellent, but I really miss the 3-finger right click that I have on my U30JC. There's no option in the settings.If you're looking for a slim and light general purpose machine, you've found it. Well worth the money.ASUS is totally where it's at in consumer-level PCs right now. In every product category, ASUS is at the top of its game.

great equal to the macbook air! love the sound and slimness. fast ssd! great that it comes with all the accessories. the trackpad is a little CON but asus promissed to fix it. the keyboard doesn't register all the key strokes if you dont hit the key in the middle! but easy to get used to it to make it work right! i purchased 2 of these for my sister and me! love them!
