I cannot count the number of phones I have owned and chucked. I live in a cement house and range of cordless is critical. this phone will receive across the street. my only problem is the weakened batteries in the base which does not hold up when a-c power goes out and the clock has to be reset. memory holds fine. Still it is the best.
