JUNK
Comment:
I installed 20 times in vista ultimate64, have a great 9850 quad core,8gb, gtx260 core216, and the list goes on. Crashes my whole system every time i channel scan and no help from the manufacture. DONT BUY THIS if you have vista, may work better with win7 but have not wanted to reinstall my whole system to watch tv. |

Software is buggy
Comment:
When you switch from watching TV to FM and back you lose all your TV channels. You have to reboot your computer to watch TV again. |

Good but not so good
Comment:
Unit installs easily, software installs fine but the driver it not very reliable if you are running a 64-bit Xp, Vista, or Windows 7 Operating system. I suggest this product only if you are running a 32-bit Operating system. |

Does the job as advertised
Comment:
I have had the item for about a month and have had no problems so far. Initial install was a little shaky and had to find the right drivers - using Vista Premium with 6 mb ram. Quality is what you would expect, maybe even better, for a $49.00 card. Great price \ |

first timer
Comment:
Product works very well ($49), once you configure it for your vista 64 with 8 megs of ram. The software that comes with it doesn't have updates to run under windows vista with over 4 megs of ram. After 2 hours of hunting I found the update on the Microsoft search maze. Radio and tv channel browsing could be a little better layed out. |

Don't understand others problems with this tuner
Comment:
I just bought my second Aver Tuner. I just installed the unit. Then the software. Scanned for channels and began using it. I am running XP Home. Couldn't ask for easier installation. Installed latest drivers from their site. My only complaint is with the software. There could be improvements there especially to simplify the interface and adding some more options. The time recording is a little clunky. But for the money I think its great and again couldn't be easier to install. |

Nice tuner
Comment:
Overall this is good tuner, picks up TV and FM great. The TV doesn't like changing screen resolutions though. If I drag it to a second monitor the TV and the tuner locks up. So, it is finiky with dual monitors. |

Good Tv Tuner at a great value
Comment:
This is a very good card. I'm using it in Windows 7 RC1 x64 and it has an excellent performance and compatibility with Windows Media Center using vista x64 drivers. No problems. I tested it on Vista SP2 too, but the Media Center just detected the digital tuner(it's a problem from the software not the card). |

Good overall product. Does not work with all 64-bit platforms as advertised. Avermedia claims to be tweaking their product. Make sure you download latest drivers. Works great in 32 bit. |

dropped it in, installed the software, scanned for channels, and am watching TV on my PC. I'm running Vista Home Premium on an e-machine. there is some ''chocking'' on digital channels but I think that's just the digital signal same thing happens with my TV. all around great product, and I would recommend. |

Comment:
It took some calls to Tech Support to get this up and running. I'm running 64 bit Vista and I guess I needed to download a driver to get it to work. Once working it has a tendency to lock up once in a while, which requires my to reboot my computer. This is an annoyance, but overall the card works well. The FM tuner seems weak. I hooked it up with the provided antenna and didn't pick up many stations and most of the ones I got came in weakly. |
Worked flawlessly with Windows Media Center. Easy install with excellent reception.
