I'm running Win 7 and downloaded current drivers directly from avermedia's site. Pic sees fine and audio on HD channels are fine but, if you use loudness correction or turn the volume up high, you'll notice a high pitched hiss.

I have six media center pc's in my home and my latest build got this tuner and it blows the others away, using win 7 64bit. hooked it up to cable service and HD antenna and it pulls in channels I didn't know I could get because the other tuners I have didn't recognize them. GREAT BUY!!! works with media center remote.

I have been able to install this easily and, using Windows Media Center, download movies error-free from my TV service. However one of the two inputs appears to be limited to alalog TV, which is obsolete. Also, it would be helpful if AverMedia provided downloading and editing software of its own.

Nothing to compare to except an older (expensive) PCI Hauppauge PVR-350 which never did work well. This AVerMedia Performance and picture quality are WAY better. Digital quality is excellent, but we only have a few channels, so use analog mostly. Only loaded drivers to use with Media Center. BEWARE: AVerMedia says on their website that their software download will not work with this white box version.

Relatively small card if you don't have much space. Uses a PCI-e slot, x1 or x16. Simple enough to install, but watch out for the Win Media Center setup. I can be a pain! I tried the card in 2 home built 64 bit Win 7 systems and it works pretty well. I'm feeding the RF input of the card with chan 3 analog from a digital cable tuner. The only problem I see is a trailing edge ringing in high contrast scenes. It's acceptable, but I'm hoping it will improve when I move to the baseband inputs later this month.

Very good TV Tuner, works flawlessly with windows 7 and media center, It'll let you record and watch another program simultanusly, for the price it should have a FM tuner, software is not the best, but wasn't planning on using it anyways.
