Good price and works well
Comment:
I have tested this out on Win XP, where it works fine with the enclosed software, and with Mac OS-X (Snow Leopard). It is sensitive, picking up multiple digital stations here in this smaller town, with good clear reception. It runs in well in Snow Leopard with the enclosed software or with the latest driver from the website, but the software (at least at the moment) will only run in 32-bit mode, there do not appear to be any 64-bit kexts. |

Wooks Great
Comment:
I bought this product to use on my Acer One Netbook with Windows 7 starter edition and have had no problems using it. I downloaded the latest drivers from the AVerMedia website and installed it without any issues. It works great and i can watch live TV anywhere now. |

What you need to know
Comment:
I bought this little unit about 4 months ago and wanted to give a report. Worked great out of the box. Allows you to install driver seperately from the avermedia software. Never did install the application as I run windows 7 mc. Mediacenter found it right away and configured fine. For the cost it works great. Pros: Cheap, USB portable Cons: Every once in a while a station will seem really digitized. Go up one channel and back down and it clears up. Maybe the software too. Summary: If you use the little antenna provided don't expect miracles, worked much better with an outside antenna attached. I have used it with laptop in different cities with little antenna and it has worked. Good bang for the buck. |

Great Little TV Tuner
Comment:
I tried this mainly because of the low price, but it came quickly and is a great little unit to use with my little netbook. Basically loaded the software and hooked up the tiny included antenna and searched for channels and found about a dozen, and I live in a rural area!! |
This is a real nice tuner to have and had no problem installing the drivers or software for it.... however, the Mediaplayer can be a bit confusing to use and was a bit buggy...I decided to use Windows Media Center instead with no problems getting a very good signal and it found many stations. I have it hooked up to a TV in my PC room using a cable connection and didn't need the antenna that comes with it. Works for me! I say try it!
