ANC more effective on high freq and much more effective on low freq than my older headset. Musical accuracy is very good at medium to high listening levels with the ANC on or off. Organ low pedals and high mixtures both reproduce very well. Midrange is excellent. My only complaint is that the ear cups are a little too small for my big ears so getting comfortable in them is a bit tricky for me. Best comfort is when they are pushed back further than normal.
