I used it to hook up my third monitor to my 6850, the first two used DVI. It does the job great, and is not too expensive. If you need to set up eyefinity, this is the adapter for you. |

I got this so I could have eyefinity with my 3 - 24" screens and EVERYTHING WORKED. So right off the bat I saved money not having to buy the $100+ unit. Catalyst saw everything and was able to create the desktop group, enabling the eyefinity.Recommended option if you don't have the coin to buy the expensive unit. |

I use this on my 5870 running an Eyefinity setup using 3 24" monitors. It was as easy as plugging this in to the card and just using it.I have had no problems, and it performs as advertised. Forget those 100.00 active adapters. Those who buy those are getting ripped off big time.Very pleased with this and I highly recommend! |

I have an ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboard which has an HDMI and a DisplayPort connector. I wanted to connect a second monitor and tried a passive DisplayPort to DVI cable but it did not work. I purchased this active adapter and my system immediately recognized the second monitor.
