Cons:-fit and finish wasn't the best, a spot was lacking the blue paint.-Plasticy all around, but again for this price...-standard bloatware (promptly removed).-keyboard catches debris easily-CPU, despite quad core, slower than intel's counterpart at the same pricepoint
Pros:+Pretty thin for this class of notebook+Excellent price on boxing day= SUPERB VALUE+Very good all around performance, no particular weak component+Nice anti-fingerprint finish and something that's finally not black and grey.+Probably the most GPU (well APU really) in this range+compact power brick (smaller than average 65W adapters)+Good battery life (thanks to LED and APU).+Quad core baby! |

So far so good if that I have a dead pixel as soon as I power it on :-( The green pixel is right in the top middle of the screen, very unconvenient when it appears on a dark tone color display.Other than that, I can play Starcraft 2 with medium settings smoothly as I want it to be. |

Overall, it is a good laptop for a normal everyday use and as well for a little bit of low graphic gaming. It has a good surround sound for this price and its definitely worth it. Can't get a better deal for an AMD A8 processor and a 640gb HDD. |
I got this laptop during boxing day sale, after much wait, finally got the computer.It is great overall performer, it's not the first in any domain, but nor the last. Pop 8GB of RAM and SSD into the computer came to life! It's very verstalie and compact for a 15" notebook. I personally love it. It's got to be the cheapest A8 (quad core)APU on the market, even at regular price.The only real gripe I have is the debris/dust catching keyboard and that for a quad core, it's not all that powerful.I highly recommend this laptop, less of course you do intense mathematical calculations or any CPU critical applications.
