Acer H243Hbmid 24" 2ms(GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor Built-in Speakers
Cons:
Controls to setup, I agree with the other buyer, just use the default controls, works out fine.
Pros: Nice clear picture, colors are very good. No dead pixels. Went from a 20" to 24" big area, sweet. None glare screen which I really like. No eye irration at all. |

Acer H243Hbmid 24" 2ms(GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor Built-in Speakers
Cons:
none yet
Pros: good value, large size. Comment:
I bought a couple of these for 199$ when they were on sale and I am extremely happy. The look good and do the required task. We don't do any gaming so I can't comment on that type of performance. |

Acer H243Hbmid 24" 2ms(GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor Built-in Speakers
Cons:
LCD touch sense control to adjust the settings could use some work. Very difficult to navigate because the sense control doesn't really sense any finger presses. I own two of these monitors and they both are hard to configure.
Pros: Awesome color, sleek design, built in speakers, supports VGA, DVI and or HDMI inputs. Comment:
Overall a good value monitor for $200 (on sale) in the 24" range. No ghosting during gaming (MW2, TF2, Crysis, etc.). I bought two of these monitors for my dual setup and am quite pleased with them. No dead pixels on either monitor but I just wish they didn't go with the touch sense control scheme on the LCD's. It made my life very difficult when calibrating both monitors and eventually I gave up and ran with the default settings. |
Venting very cool out the top of the monitor, which is a good sign. To far very happy with this first Acer monitor. Controls could be more user friendly, but Acer has put in defaults that work out. I have the brigthness at 55, contrast 50 nice to look at, enjoy. My first Acer, if it lasts several years will buy again.
