Acer R3610 Revo Intel Atom 330 2GB 160GB NVIDIA Ion HDMI eSATA WLAN GbE Windows 7 Home Premium
Cons:no DVD drive
Pros:small, quiet, Windows 7 is fantastic! Comment:
I bought this to use in my living room, to replace an old media pc. I love the small size and it is very very quiet. HDMI video and audio out work perfectly out of the box. I had to upgrade the drivers for the ION video card to get Beyond TV Link to play properly, but otherwise, it works great and I would highly recommend this little machine for anyone who wants a simple little computer. |

Acer R3610 Revo Intel Atom 330 2GB 160GB NVIDIA Ion HDMI eSATA WLAN GbE Windows 7 Home Premium
Cons:Atom could use a little boost but its good for what I paid. Does the job.
Pros:1080P Playback is real smooth.Cheap for what you get.Easily run other programs and even use it for Linux. Comment:
Really great deal for the price I paid. Plays most of the movies without any problems and hooks right up to the TV via VESA mount. Just need to clean the Acer Bloatware that comes with it but other then that it's great with Windows 7 Home Pre. x64. I recommend upgrading the ram to 4GB at least for an extra boost. |

Great product, at a great price. Its hard to match anything to this performance wise at that price. For that price its a great little system, absolutely would buy again. |

Acer R3610 Revo Intel Atom 330 2GB 160GB NVIDIA Ion HDMI eSATA WLAN GbE Windows 7 Home Premium
Cons:keyboard FN key defaults (ie: letters are numbers, reboot and the FN key reactivated,) port for stereo is on front of unit, no webcam or mic in box.
Pros:small and compact, boots quickly, price-point is ideal limited uses (eg: email, web, board games) Comment:
I set this up for a mature woman whom only uses it for email, banking, and Mahjong. 30-some-things will want higher detail on games, and a teenager could easily fill the hard drive capacity. |
I use this Acer Revo as my HTPC and I am quite happy with the performance/price ratio. The built-in wireless is a nice feature even though it provides acceptable performance.
