I bought the Acer V203H as an additional monitor to my Samsung SyncMaster 940T, which has excellent color and gamma accuracy, but pretty slow response time. While the response time on the V203H is on the whole much better, it has some pretty noticeable ghosting, especially going from dark gray to light gray. The contrast is good, and the display is pretty bright, however I can't find any menu option to adjust the gamma settings. You'll have to do colour correction on the computer instead.One annoying thing I found is that when I turn on EDID it seems to send the wrong colour information to the GPU, especially on the green channel (so all the greens look kinda fluorescent). Not sure if it's a drivers issue but I've never encountered it on other monitors.I bought this at 89.99 so it was a pretty good deal, but for the regular price it's a pretty mediocre screen. |
buzzing noise when the brightness is not on 100% . so I'd like to exchange one while ncix staff said no, because they said at this prise, the noise is common,and I just can return.actually, I'd like to mark just ONE STAR,but staff need to check it. while if noise is ok for u, u can buy it. - - Remember u cannot exchange for BUZZING NOISE!!!
