This monitor is incredible, especially for such a low price. I have absolutely no complaints. I'd certainly buy another if I needed to. Way to go, Acer, on making such a quality product!

I have since purchased 3 of these monitors. The price and view are a great combo. One of the three has since developed an offcoloured patch. Great available options for hooking up to various computers.

For its price, it could not get much better. I got a couple of these for a client when they were on sale. Excellent monitor with a great picture. Acer always puts out a great product with very competitive pricing. My clients are very happy.

overall a huge step up from my old 19" Sony HMD-A400 Trinitron. Very easy on the eyes and running in 1920x1080 native resolution is very easy on the eyes.Included a DVI-D cable and a VGA) cable (note no adapter for VGA DVI if your graphics card only has DVI sockets.Picked this up for $159.99 and at that price I'd rate it 5 stars, however at $230ish would have to rate it 4 stars. Very nice product.

I received the screen quickly, no dead pixels. The reponse time 5 ms is super quick no problems playing COD6 and GTA 4. The resolution 1980X1080 is amazing on COD6 its as the same as if you were doing it in real life. I really enjoy my purchase and I recommand it to anyone who wants a cheap and good HD screen.

I bought this lcd screen for a customer, she wanted a cheap 24 inches screen. It is an accer, but for the price I couldn't go wrong. It is a good thing it has a hdmi connector. The contrast is also good, ok, its not a samsung or lg screen but it does the job for the price. It also has a nice look, and the plastic quality isn'T too much cheap. I would recommend it for a nice cheap 24 inches.

I really have nothing to complain about with the picture quality or capabilities of this monitor for the price; the only issue that's a regular pain is switching between inputs, which requires clicking small buttons on the bottom to select  the correct input from the menu... a simple, dedicated input switch button would be much better. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of if you plan to attach multiple computers.When I first bought my LG BD350 Blu-Ray player I wanted to test it with this monitor using the HDMI input and the picture was seriously screwed up (stretched and incorrect colors); not a problem for me as the player is now plugged into the TV, but something to be aware of if you're intending to buy it as a small 1080P display rather than a PC monitor. This may be a problem with the Blu-Ray player rather than the monitor, but there's obviously some incompatibility between the two.

Just got this monitor today in the mail... bought it at the on sale price of 179.99. For the price I paid, this seems like a great monitor. This is my second acer monitor, and I now have a dual monitor setup with this and my acer 19inch from a few years ago... does the job quite nicely! BUY THIS MONITOR.

I bought this monitor mainly as a result of being recommended by anandtech.com. I now run two monitors for my desktop the other being a Samsung 22IN 1680X1050. I find the image crisper than the Samsung, and cleaner (Though this could be to do with resolution).[http://www.anandtech.com/guides/showdoc.aspx?i=3542&p=3]For the size, the quality, the included cables, and the price, this monitor seems very good value.

very happy with this monitor, excellent features for this price point. Vga, hdmi, dvi it has it all very good resolution. Have a Samsung 22" wide screen and this is much sharper picture.would definitely recommend.

The Acer X233H an excellent no frills purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who is in need of a cheap monitor for use with a computer or HDMI capable console.I purchased this monitor mainly for use with an Xbox360 (since the monitor is 1080p & HDMI capable) and it performs as advertised. Despite the stand made from somewhat wobbly plastic, I can't honestly complain about the panel quality at this price point; the panel arrived without dead or stuck pixels and has decent colour gamut despite having somewhat bluish blacks at the top and bottom edges. The panel has excellent brightness, but be prepared to sacrifice blacks in exchange for hazy greys if you turn up the brightness too much.The monitor comes packaged with power,VGA and DVI cables. No HDMI cable is included despite presence of an HDMI port on the monitor, so be sure to have one at hand if you plan on using HDMI. Be sure to note the lack of internal speakers on this monitor (unlike the H233H), as well as the lack of any audio output jack on the monitor.
