This unit works great for what I wanted it for! I use it to show my family and friends E-Mail, IM, Web content, and pictures on my TV. It shows whatever is on the computer screen. I had TV output on my laptop , but it chopped off part of the content. I do not know how it works on movies videos as I am really not into showing movies etc. on my computer. It uses the internal routing system in my computer without anything dangling from my USB ports or another transmitter unit by my computer. Very compact if you wanted to take it with you to show material at other locations. So far very pleased with it. Have to zoom the font sometimes to read it on the TV, but I have a regular TV. May work better on a HDTV ? All in all pleased with the unit at present ! It was I was looking for, all other units have a seperate transmitter unit or cable.
