Great for teaching; not sure about home use

I purchased this unit to allow me to move about with a tablet PC in a 300-seat university math class. The AddLogix box is connected by VGA cable to the projector, and then connects wirelessly to the computer in my hands. For teaching, it is perfect. The connection is reliable, setup is easy, and it only takes a couple of minutes each class to make the physical and wireless connections. That being said, I can't see a great use for it at home. For playing back videos, it's okay but is only reliable at 640x480; you won't be able to replace your DVD player with a laptop and the AddLogix box. I think you are better off waiting until higher speed and designed-for-video wireless tools come on the market.
