I bought this unit to add 2.5in hdd capability to my computer so I could put some spare laptop drives to use. The main enclosure feels quite sturdy. However the individual hdd trays aren't secured very well, and though they won't come out when locked, they can still wiggle and vibrate a fair bit. It only requires one 4-pin molex power input to power all 4 drives, and each drive has its own sata connections. The fans are a nice touch, however changing them between hi/low requires changing a jumper at the back of the unit, and in my case I can't reach the jumper unless the unit is taken out. Also, even on low the fans are quite loud and I can clearly hear them over the rest of my fans.
