What can I say. It works and is very simple to install. At $9.00 its way to expensive. Got it on sale at %50.

Does exactly what it says it will do. Packaging was a little non descript, but I really don't care. I would worry about breaking it if used frequently as it is a little fragile. Decent device all together.

Works great for connecting laptop IDE drives to PC's or for connecting laptop drives to and external IDE enclosure for data recovery.I used to recover data off a older laptop drive and it worked very well. Very good price.

Had one of these for ages now. Never had a problem with it at all. Used to add in an older 80gb spare laptop drive in the spare windows box for storage. I am only running an over-clocked Barton in it and can't bear the idea of throwing it out...You will obviously need a suitable bracket of some kind if you are mounting in a 3.5 bay...But all that has nothing to do with the product. It's never had any issues . The only thing to watch is the downward pressure it tends to put on the drive pins, so a bit of support may be necessary, but maybe not.
