Installed this with Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal paste on my E8400 HTPC. Dropped my load temperature by a few degrees, but nothing significant. Good value at $10. |
Used this with OCZ Freeze, and it did cool a little better than stock. However, I don't really know if it's the cooler or the thermal paste at work, as the difference was minimal. Overall, though, decent cooler for what it is. Just be careful when installing it, as the fins bend extremely easily.
