Does the job
Comment:
It makes the front of the computer look pretty cool. The sensors are a little off, but it kinda gets the job done. Mostly just for effect I think. |

Great Product

Had some trouble during breaking period, but now it is working great. The mobo is upset that the system fan is no longer hooked to it, but that is minor. I am sure that will work out once I get the next mobo for this system. |

Great for the price.

It works great for the price, very easy to read the display, and easy to set the warning chimes. Only issue I found was that you have to constantly change it to display in Fahrenheit when you start up your PC. |

Works goods

I bought this in place of a more expensive unit. It runs my three fans I hooked up to it just fine. I don't think it has a very good temp sensor, as it is always a few degree too hot or cold from what it actually is. Works like it's supposed to though. And its a good price. If your looking for a basic unit to add some additional fans and see the relative temp of your system, I would recommend it. If your looking for a real fan controller with better visuals and more features, look somewhere else. Can be seen looking directly down from where I sit. The computer is off to my left on the floor and I can usually see fairly well what temps I'm running. I had to use some better tape to attach the temp probes, as the tape junk they sent with it just fell right off. Has no stickiness to it whatsoever. |

Good, cheap fan controller
Comment:
Good for the money. didn't have very good instructions. put the temp sensor for cpu on the cooling fins as close to cpu as possible. |

I built a ''silent server'' for my home office. Since there are no fans on the CPU, and only a small quiet case fan, I was worried the CPU or the drives in the RAID array would get too hot. The Aerocool fit precisely in a open front 3 1/2'' drive bay, and looks great. Not so bright to be distracting, but not hard to read at a glance. My only complaint is the ''tape'' supplied to mount the temperature probes didn't stick. I tacked them on the hard drive cases and cpu heat sink with a drop of vinyl adhesive. It has never been clear to me if the case fan speed tracks the temperature, or if unit is just a monitor (a monitor was what I wanted). The alarm works, but it is not very loud. Mounting and adjusting the settings was very easy. |
I got this for my new case. Seems to work pretty darn good for the size. Like most here my only complaint is the tape that comes with this product it lacks in sticking sensors were I need them. Maybe they will include some fresh tape to future customers.Other then that this product works like a charm.
