great case!
Comment:
bought this case as an upgrade to an apevia q-pack. this case is much more sturdy and of a much higher quality. its an all aluminum design and you can feel the quality in the weight of this case. the folding design lets you access the mobo without pulling it out which is a nice feature. spaces for 3 80mm fans and one 120mm fan keep this case more than cool. i have never seen temps inside the case reach more than 23c. like any other matx case though, there is a limited amount of room for your cpu fan. overall this case is great and i would recommend this to anyone looking for a matx case.

The LCD display did not work. I hear that is common on this case, however, I didn't want the Display on anyway, they are too bright. The case is easy to work with and I build micro motherboard computers all the time. I would buy this case again.

This is a really nice case for a media center. I wanted a small case to sit by my television. It is large enough to hold all the parts and small enough not to look like a pc next to the tv. Make sure to get fans it does run warm

AeroCool M40-BK Black Computer Case
Cons:None

Pros:Easy to work with, nice looks. Accommodates my PSU perfectly with HDD caddy in the way (Antec TP Trio 430w). Nice case for that HTPC setup.
Comment:
Room enough to work in, decent space for cable routing. I bought this along with the M3A78-EM board for my HTPC. I really like the flip open case feature. Very happy with the case. Being able to use full height video cards is definitely a plus. The only thing i would have preferred, would have been the LCD readout in a blue back lit instead of red. Other than that...it was money well spent!

AeroCool M40-BK Black Computer Case
Cons:Larger than I thought it was, the PSU holes and Mobo holes are slightly off. Need to buy additional 80mm fans for rear of case.

Pros:Stylish design, very easy to put together, high gloss finish, very stealth looking.
Comment:
First time builder. Had no troubles at all, very easy to build due to dual deck. Tidy wiring and lots of space to work. Need to buy optional fans though becuase the 1 stock 120mm fan is insufficient. I used SATA for hard drive, if you don't, the fit is very tight against the PSU, I'd say near impossible.

AeroCool M40-BK Black Computer Case
Comment:
I really like this case. lots of room for a micro ATX. 2 piece hinged box is sturdy when closed and makes install / repair a snap, very good air flow, easy to route cable neatly - MSI MOBO lined up easy w/ mounting holes and expansion slots, front panel very attractive mix of flat and shiny black, 5''drive doors work slick, case cover kinda thin w/ OK paint but not prize winning. used a Corsair HX520W modular PS but it's 150mm deep, 10mm longer than recommended on box, had to move dual Seagate SATA HD's back as far as possible & use 90 deg sata data cables, very tight squeeze, installed retail dual core E6300 w/ factory heat sink & fan had full 2'' clearance on top, put 3 very quiet Noctura NF R8 80mm fans on back panel and PS fan idles, cool as a cucumber w/ big National Instruments PCI DAQ card. This one is for work - gonna get another for home...

AeroCool M40-BK Black Computer Case
Cons:LCD is garish and pretty much useless. Addionally, the optical drive covers are not designed to be removable, so standard 5 14 drive inserts won't fit. So no retractable LCD screens or drawers. :-(

Pros:Can be modified to accept tall CPU heatsinks with large fans
Comment:
I really like these cases (I've built several) because with a set of tinsips and 10 minutes, the sheet metal divider between the top and bottom halves can be removed. This allows for better airflow through power supplies that have a 120MM fan, and most impressively allows the installation of tall CPU heatsinks like the Zalman 90. (Don't think the 120 would fit as it would be too wide and hit the power supply. In any case (no pun intended), it allows decent overclocking with the improved airflow and larger CPU HS.This is the only mATX cube case that I've been able to put a large CPU HS into.Cheers, PiffleMaster

AeroCool M40-BK Black Computer Case
Cons:Not as quiet as I expected

Pros:LCD looks cool
Comment:
The front panel LCD looks cool. Easy to work inside. Just be careful if you have a bigger PSU, it needs to to installed before everything else because there is no extra room between the PSU and hard disk or DVD drive. I installed a Corsair VX550W PSU and a Scythe Shuriken 3 heatpipe low profile CPU heatsink in this case and expected it to be quiet, but it's not. Maybe this case is not designed to be quiet.

AeroCool M40-BK Black Computer Case
Cons:Cable management is troublesome.

Pros:Well built, compact, but retains good airflow.
Comment:
The split design of the case makes it quite easy to work inside of. The power supply is is a bit of a tight fit and the size of the case will leave standard length cables all over the place. Fortunately there is space for a few 80 mm fans, plus the case is very good-looking.

AeroCool M40-BK Black Computer Case
Cons:LCD HDD status is always spinning even when HDD isn't being accessed. Poor placement of HDD area. Power supply is a bit tight.

Pros:Great looking, small factor, great airflow. Very sturdy case.
Comment:
I had to use a sperate HDD bracket to utilize my second HDD. Other then that, this case is awesome. Getting lots of compliments on it. Fits sound card, video card and my firewire card.
