AeroCool Qx-2000 Black Computer Case
Cons: -metal corners are very sharp-could have provided 1 more MB mounting screw to fill every screw hole on my board (however my CPU heat sync was too big to use that hole without removal of it)-instructions were very much lacking-very strict list of requirements which I list almost fully in my summary-only one fan provides, however I have many extra super silent cooling fans so having a lower case price in return is a nice trade off

Pros: -sturdy design of buttons and inner casing-smart design to allow for a gaming system while not over heating-provided fan almost silent when set to low speed-LED fan light can be turned off-good looking case-relatively compact case-MB fit in very easily even with leaving my ram and my huge heat sync fan combo intact from the removal of my full size ATX tower-case if very funtional with fan speeds, power, reset button and front fan red, blue and off LED settings-good air flow for a small computer case, had other small cases cause over heating-good value for the money compared to other comparable cases

My CPU cooler is Size (with fan): 137mm(H) x 145mm(W) x 148mm(H) D called the "Scythe Zipang" which I bought around November 2008 from NCIX. Any taller cooling will not fit, i have about half a centimeter of room left. So anything taller than 140mm is too tall.I got this computer case to fit my computer parts in without having a pile of wasted space and it does that job very well. I run a "Seasonic S12 Energy Plus 650W" PSU which just fits (Dimension (WxDxH): 150 x 140 x 86 mm). You could fit a slightly longer power supply somehow but honestly I do not know how you'd expect to connect your hard drives SATA connector if it was any longer and to top it off I needed a SATA connector with a 90 degree bend so I didn't have to worry about snapping the connection from my hard drive.Other concern is the instructions are very much lacking, there was nothing about needing to remove the CD rom face from the CD tray which if not done the bay doors do not fully close. Nothing about how to open up the inner casing and those screws to be removed in order to remove the hard drive tray which is required to be done to install the drive into the bay. The instructions about what fan connectors to connect didn't even make sense to make the fan work correctly with different speeds. However this is a wonderful case, a bit finicky on the power supply size restrictions which was expected with a mini case. Many of the things that should have been explained in the instructions are easy enough to figure out but I do not suggest this case for anyone without or little computer self assembly experience. There isn't much risk beyond installing in any other computer case, it's just a bit more technical. For instance if you do not install the hard drive the correct direction or have the bay flipped 180 degrees it won't fit or bold in correctly to allow the case cover to be mounted. If you do not place your CD drives far enough in the eject button will not be able to be pressed.I recommend this case, it is very well built. If you do your research when running after market coolers looking at sizes I listed and power supply size and want a small case and are using a mATX motherboard and have one 90 degree curved SATA connector you should be set. This is the best computer case I have ever owned allowing a compact yet functional computer system while at the same time also looking good.My previous computer case I went for cheap and got cheap (a messed up power button and the case vibrated badly when reading CDs and at hard drive spin up). This case costs more but the quality is there in the buttons and the inner casing, no vibration issues and is well worth the money.

AeroCool Qx-2000 Black Computer Case
Cons: You must choose appropriate power supply which is limited by 140mm depth. Must use angle SATA data and power cable for connecting HDD.

Pros: A lot of room for installing large CPU cooler. Front fan is quiet if chosing lowest speed.
Comment:
A lot of room for installing motherboard and CPU fan.I choose Antec Earth power supply such that the SATA power cable can be connect to HDD without touching the power supply unit. Same for choosing the anlged SATA data cable. The front intake fan for the HDD is cater for 60cm fan only. Aerocool should change the design to allow mounting 80cm fan (at least).

Some good and bad design decisions
Comment:
The case looks slick and I'm glad I bought it for use as my lan gaming box. The two tier design of the powersupply and hard drive section being seperated from the rest of the machine is interesting. My only complaint is drive bay is impossible to use with a regular ATX power supply. I could only fit one drive and had to opt to put the other in the floppy bay. Airflow is good and there is more than enough space on top tier for jamming cables out of the way if you fore-go a rear case fan. I don't regret my purchase :)

Best case I've ever bought!
Comment:
This case has a unique design. It is very simillar to the M-40 by aerocool. My only caution about this case is the room on the top of the case and the power suply. It does use a full size ATX PSU which is nice but the HD bay will have to be moved next to the PSU or removed completely if the PSU is longer that 150mm. The case is built very well and it is capable of fitting a GPU up to 300mm in length!!! Ths case would be best fit with an EVGA SLI board with a i7 CPU! That wuld be a sick setup. If you are looking for a well built case, that has plenty of cooling and enough spots to run SLI this is the case for you!
