At $15, it was a steal. Contrary to the box, you can barely feel the bass. Only on a few occasions did I feel the bass. Otherwise it is a great buy (if it's under $20). |

I bought this set of speakers for my new laptop. It was on sale which was $15 without tax. I am satisfied with this product at such a price.Compare to my previous speaker - Edifer S330D which is used for desktop, I cant really distinguish them. The Edifer S330D has bigger base and therefore sounds stronger than this one. Im not a pro-speaker user, but I really recommend people who would useAltec Lansing BXR1321 for laptops in small rooms. |

Bought this 2.1 set of speakers 2 weeks ago and haven't had any problems with them yet. Was able to get them on sale for less than $30, and so far they have proven to be worth it. Great value and always great products from Altec Lansing. |
I snagged this set on sale to put on a desktop that was lacking speakers for a few years. I might be a little biased on their quality considering that I've been using ATH-M50s for the last few years as my main audio output. They do have a 'tinny' sound and not much for low to mid range but considering that I only paid about 20$ it was a steal. My only real gripe with these is the lack of 3.5mm audio jack on the speakers. I end up having to plug my headphones into my PC, no big deal though.
