Antec Basic Notebook Cooler
Cons:Passive cooling may be inadequate sometimes.
Pros:Very compact, no noise Comment:
Picked it up for $5 at an in store sale. Couldn't complain as it was very cheap. The passive cooling is nice in that there is no fan to wear out or contribute more noise. When not in use, it takes up very little room to store. I could not make it for the price. |

Antec Basic Notebook Cooler
Cons:None so far.
Pros:Light, slim, easy to use, metal conducts heat and holes for airflow, so much slicker than a big, clunky, plastic cooler. Comment:
It's a passive cooler with a slick little stand that lies flat if you want it to. If you don't need a fan shooting air right at your laptop, then I would recommend it. I got it for the wife so she would stop using my Eastman and Laird TMNT graphic novel for a flat surface. My childhood... |
Good value for 5$, but otherwise this is something I could live without. I'm afraid the plastic leg at the back that folds out to keep the laptop at an angle will eventually break if I'm not careful. Also the metal part is not large enough to completely cover my 14 laptop but it still holds very well anyways. As for the cooling, it really does keep my lap cool so I don't burn myself down there anymore ;)
