Antec KUHLER box High-performance CPU Cooler
Cons:
Integrated fanDue to size can be difficult to install (for some users)
Pros: Direct touch heat pipe technologyLarge surface areas for coolingIntegrated fan Comment:
I bought this to replace a Xigmatek HDT-S1283 heatsink (just wanted to try something different) and performance on the Xigmatek was much better under load conditions; The Antec has 4 pipes (over 2 radiators) the Xigmatek's 3 pipes (larger diameter; over 1 radiator). There is tons of hardware for this unit (multiple different types of systems that it could be installed in) and due to size can be a bit difficult to install. Thankfully, the spring screws can be initially finger tightened then tightened further with a provided wrench unlike other heatsinks that I used where significant downward pressure had to be placed on the spring laden screw to even start the threading process. So it is a good cooler, but not one of the best and when it comes to coolers, I want something near the best for my overclocking systems, but would consider this for other non aggressive builds due to it's positive attributes.Check your system's available space with this coolerOther than that, the cooler is a very sharp looking cooler. Installing this cooler instead of the stock i7 2600k cooler gave me really better temps, passed from about 55 celcius to about 35.. Its pretty easy to install, and gives a great look to the pc. Just make sure your computer case as room enough for that huge heatsink.
