Antec NSK1480 Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:
Uninspiring looks. Reminds people of the OEM PCs found in school libraries and such. I personally don't mind it. It's what's on the inside that counts anyways.
Pros: Sturdy and small while full featured and well ventilated. |

Antec NSK1480 Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:- no front firewire- PSU fan a bit louder than I'd like- black optical drives don't match the silver front
Pros:- good looks- many cooling options- high enough to fit many heatsinks- front eSATA Comment:
These can be used horizontally or vertically. Three spots for the included fans. The fans have three manual speed settings and run off molex connectors, so they can't be controlled by the motherboard, which sucks. The blue LED around the power switch has been toned down a bit compared to my NSK2480. The reset button is hard to push. The case is quiet, but not silent. Quiet enough for HTPC use. |
One of the fans arrived dead. No biggie, the fans were a little loud for me even on the lowest setting. I replaced the 2 exhaust fans each with the Arctic Cooling 80mm exhaust fan and the HDD fan with a Scythe and now the system is whisper quiet. The chassis is surprising roomy. Plenty of room to work in. Haven't found a low profile card that can't fit into this case. Really wish they would make a Mini-ITX version of this case. I would buy it in a hearbeat.
