Antec Solution Plus CPU Cooler Socket A 4500RPM 17.9CFM 34DBA
Cons:Not the best cooler.

Pros:Decent cooler to replace a worn out HS/Fan.
Comment:
This is a decent cooler for an aging/obsolete system. I think I should just scrap it. . .but it's still hanging around. I'm just waiting for the CPU or motherboard to die before finally putting this system out to pasture.

Antec Solution Plus CPU Cooler Socket A 4500RPM 17.9CFM 34DBA
Cons:Noise.

Pros:Cheap cost, good performance, quality.
Comment:
For using as a stock replacement it works very well, cools a fair bit better than the stock counterparts. It is noisy but not really bad, I would say it is a little noisier than the stock units but the cooling performance makes up for it. For just a good cheap replacement on a worn out stock heatsink it works great and even handles some minor overclocking.

Antec Solution Plus CPU Cooler Socket A 4500RPM 17.9CFM 34DBA
Cons:Thermal paste not in the center

Pros:Pretty quiet compared to the old AMD I had
Comment:
This cooler replaced my old AMD one and I'm very satisfied by the sound it produces. Theres not much to say except it keeps my cpu cool, perhaps even cooler than my old one. It's a good unit.

Antec Solution Plus CPU Cooler Socket A 4500RPM 17.9CFM 34DBA
Cons:The termal paster is not at the cente of the unit

Pros:Cheepwork better then the original!
Comment:
I bought this to replace an old legacy cooler that the fan was making noise. The only problem is that the pre applied termal paste was not at the center of the unit and i had to remouve it and add some of my own paste.

Antec Solution Plus CPU Cooler Socket A 4500RPM 17.9CFM 34DBA
Cons:- Doesn't cool any better that stock coolers for Socket A chips

Pros:- Price- Fairly quiet fan for 4500 rpms
Comment:
It fits a socketA motherboard.. and that's about it. The cooling is no better than any other socketA stock cooler I've ever seen. I wouldn't buy this if you're looking for lower temps on some red hot Athlon XP legacy chip. A better idea might be to look at the Nexus 80mm to 120mm fan adapter module NCIX has and attach it to the stock AMD heatsink, then throw a nice big 120mm on there to cool things down.

Cons:budget solution

Pros:quietcheap

Well, I wasn't sure whether I would be able to find a socket 462 heatsink and fan until this baby. Sure, it's nothing great to look at, no lights, no fancy design, but it works. The copper base is integrated right into the aluminum and the one that I received was baby butt smooth were the aluminum and copper meet. Sometimes companies don't bond the metals together quite so nice but these guys did a good job. Also, the fan is quieter than the heat sink/fan combo that came with my unit. I'm overclocking a mobile athlon xp 2400+ to 2200 mhz and I'm below 58 degrees celcius. I could go higher but haven't gotten brave enough.. This is a half decent heat sink that cools about 5 degrees celcius cooler than my standard sink. for less than fifteen bucks(shop around and price match) you can't go wrong.

Antec Solution Plus CPU Cooler Socket A 4500RPM 17.9CFM 34DBA
Cons:Relatively Loud

Pros:Cheap, Effective
Comment:
This HSF helped me to revive and old socket A machine. It works better than the HSF that was on there originally. While the fan isnt the loudest ever, it is louder than I would like it to be.
