Antec TITAN650 Black Pedestal Server Case
Cons:Excellent case for file server or windows home server. I am currently using this case for my windows home server with 6 hard drives. The power supply handles the load nicely. Only drawback is the case is very heavy but obviously it is not meant to be carried around. Overall excellent case. Highly recommended.

Pros:Very deep. Huge space. Excellent build quality and price. Comment:
The case is an excellent choice for a cheap file server as it comes with a 650w psu.It has big space, well built and has reasonably low price tag attached to it.However, its hdd mounting mechanism is rather bothersome, as I had to remove the front panel to install new hdd's.This shouldn't be much of a problem, though, as people normally do not install hdd's at many different times. |

Cons:- Not enough 3.5" hard drive positions & too many 5-1/4" positions. Don't even have a dvd drive installed in it - how many servers do??- Small 80mm fan mount could have been omitted - it is pretty useless
Pros:- Very large/roomy- Sizable power supply- Good hard-drive mounting system with slick fan system- Excellent build quality. Good grade steel with no sharp edges, plastic is strong.- Understated simple design (so hard to find now...) Comment:
Excellent chassis for a file-server. Large space makes routing cables very easy. Good fan mounting system in front for hard-drives.Would have liked to see 8 to 12 3.5" hard-drive mounting positions. A file-server is likely to have many hard-drives and few to no optical-drives. At least in my case, the 3.5" positions are fully populated, and the 5.25" positions are fully empty :P |
