Antec Three Hundred 5.25IN to 3.5IN Bay Adapter
Cons:needed some modding to fit case
Pros:good looking, sturdy Comment:
This adapter didn't fit my case (corsair 500R) and my card reader is only holding with one screw because the holes dont match. i got this one because it was good looking and the meshing matched my case's front... but it didn't fit... |

Antec Three Hundred 5.25IN to 3.5IN Bay Adapter
Cons:Alignment is a bit off.
Pros:Allows you to use 3.5IN device in 5.25IN bays? Comment:
It does what it was designed for. Solid build but with some minor alignment issue. I had problem securing this bracket to the Antec 300 case. |

Antec Three Hundred 5.25IN to 3.5IN Bay Adapter
Cons:
screws were off positionnot blackdoesnt quite fit into my case
Pros: cheapworks for antec 300 i guess... Comment:
i put it into my corsair 600T and man the position was off, i was trying to install my card reader and it didnt work out quite well... but i guess its installed now.... but only with one screw holding it in place hopefully it doenst break and it would be good if the bracket thing is painted in black so it doenst look as weird.... right now i have this huge hole because the front panel thing doenst fit into my 600T also, so everything seems not quite done i would buy another one if theres another one available but this is currently the only one i guess, and its cheap anyways, o well , idont think i will buy this again though, because i will be switching cases next time.. or buy a 5.25 card reader |

Antec Three Hundred 5.25IN to 3.5IN Bay Adapter
Cons:
Tight fittingAdditional cost
Pros: Exactly what it's suppose to Comment:
Well, can't really fault this product too much as it does exactly what it's suppose to, which is take one of the 5.25 bays and turn it into a 3.5 with an adapter, which works for my 3.5 fan controller.Faults which I can find are that it is fairly tight fitting so getting it into the bay takes a slight bit of bending to the sides. Another thing which I don't like is that it's an additional cost, just for the 3.5 cover!Overall, I guess I'd probably buy another if I needed it as it seems that the adapter can be used easily for other cases, but i've yet to try this. |

Antec Three Hundred 5.25IN to 3.5IN Bay Adapter
Cons:Too bad it wasn't included with the original case
Pros:Inexpensive, the only good way to get an externally accessible 3.5" drive into a 300 Comment:
I picked up a couple of these for my cases, and with pricematch got both for about the price of one!In case anyone is wondering, here is what you actually get in the box:- a baggie with four mounting screws:- a metal and plastic bezel insert that matches the original 300 bezel (perforated metal plate on top of the plastic);- a beefy metal drive carrier that insert s into the 5.25" bay (you could also use it to install a regular hard drive as well, I suppose, by simply using the original faceplate instead of the cutout one included.)All in all, definitely worth what I paid.Installation is pretty straightforward. There is a metal punch-out that needs to be removed from the front of the carrier first. Mount the drive/reader/whatever in the carrier, mount the carrier in the drive bay and attach the bezel plate to the case bezel. Makes a nice, clean way of adding externally-accessible 3.5" devices.Too bad they didn't think of providing for this with the original case itself, though. |

Antec Three Hundred 5.25IN to 3.5IN Bay Adapter
Cons:availability
Pros:Price, Look Comment:
Well, I purchsed 300 for my sister in lawcouple of months ago. I bought 2.5flash drive reader. I totally forgoti needed adaptor. I ordered it in as soon as I found out the 1200 adaptor wouldn't workwith 300.It did take more than a month to receive itbut totally worth the wait.. wait... I didn'thave any other option.. |
Ripped a tab off trying to get it on with a 3.5" Multi Flash Card Reader installed.Checked the possibilites of changing the posiion of Card Reader in the cradle. It would not have mattered as It would have been either an inch or two sticking out of the Case or an inch or two inset to the case.Just be very congnisent of whats going on. It may not matter.the unit front pce ended up being 1.5mm outside the plane of the Native PlugsTHIS WAS USED IN A ANTEC 300 Case as well.
