Antec TriCool 120MM Blue LED Case Black Fan 4PIN Molex Connection W/ 3 Speed Switch OEM
Cons:It's actually a darker royal blue, but a darker bluish tint than the other antec 900 or 1200 fans. Also the black sleeving breaks extremely easily, so becareful where you tuck it into the fan into the slots. Also at loud settings it sounds really loud, the loudest fan you ever heard. Not a problem if you have a high tolerance for fans. But using medium or low instead, it's actually quite silent, I don't hear it, it sounds like it's not even on. Also you get 1500rpm at med settings, which is fast enough without sound.
Pros:Good fans with variable speeds, good for cases like antec eleven hundred. Comment:
Since the color is darker and royal blue, don't mix and match these with your lighter blue antec 900/1200 fans. It matches the top 200mm antec eleven hundred fan color for a darker blue theme. I'll probally just use it as a cpu heatsink fan so it's fine. Also I think these are quite expensive and buying many of them to keep it consistent really adds up in price. They don't match older antec cases and your better off starting all over, or buying a pair for the window, cpu cooler, or front intakes to keep it consistent. It's a 4 pin molex fan, no 3 pin header. Also using low speeds, I don't hear it on the case window. Even at medium I don't hear it if I use it for the intake front fans for the case. |
