Hmmmm It has adequate default cables to plug into my technique.24 pin mobo, 4 pin cpu, 2 HDD Sata, 1 IDE and two PCI-E 6 pins.Plugging these in the system would not continously energy then die just before obtaining anywhere.I unplugged a bunch of cables, added in a couple of the modular cable addon's and only ran a single item per cable. This allowed me to boot up at least one HDD, Motherboard and the PCI-E device. Genuinely upset with this product my OCZ Power Cooling & Supply 600W PSU powered the current technique fine for four years that it replaced.Shop was just out of stock of what I was seeking for so I tried this. |

Very good price, Modular Cables, quite fan, covered cables with meshing, and its Antec! None I have constantly purchased Antec PSU and never ever been let down. I purchased this for a video card upgrade and it is powering a EVGA GTX 460 and doing a good job of it. |

The modular design makes cable management less complicated. The main power cables are permanently attached, although all of the peripheral cables all plug into the back of the PSU. The cables are all wrapped in mesh for a cleaner installation. I'm beginning to hate the on the internet manual, but i guess going green is the thing to do. I bought this for the following, Gigabyte ep45 ud3r motherboard, 2 2 gigs of corsair memory, two WD 640 gig HD, x-fi SB, 4870 ati video card, q8400 2.66 cpu with no troubles. |

Particularly Quiet!Just sufficient connectors built in, with enough modular cables to expand.Adequate power to run any modest method comfortably. Not all cables modular -- Nevertheless a couple of useless cables to uncover a location to hide. I turned on my laptop or computer the initially time with it installed and groaned simply because I couldn't hear any fan noise. Imagine my surprise when the screen turned on! It makes the "Whisper" power supply it replaced sound like a jet turbine! |

Antec TruePower New TP-650 650W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7" Power Supply
Cons:Only con I can think of is that I paid over $100.00 for mine just before the sale price dropped below the $90 point by about 4 days:(
Pros:Solid design, quiet, seems stable so far. Comment:
Some people seem concerned about the fact that it is not fully modular, even though it says that it is not. I repaced an Ultra fully modular with this unit and I don't see the problem. The cables that are not modular are the cables you would have to attatch anyway, so to me it is a moot point. |

Solid style, modular design, Antec brand. High pitched frequency from a loose coil on this unit as soon as I turned off my computer. As soon as I turned my computer off I got a very loud frequency noise that was coming from the PSU. When I would flip the switch from the back of the PSU off I could hear the frequency noise dwindling down. It didn't take rocket science to uncover out the souce of this problem. All it took was me putting my ear subsequent to the unit to decide exactly where the noise was originating from. I'm now in the process of finding this unit RMA'd. After reading some comments here on Antec's consumer support, I hope I don't locate myself in a comparable scenario. I truly need this computer up and operating soon. |

Based on what I hear about other people encounter RMAing Antec garbage I'm not even gonna bother. Hopefully the 650w Corsair unit I replaced it with will last a bit longer. |

There's been no evaluations on this unit for some time here, but it seems like a excellent deal proper now so I just bought 1. I'm putting my reasoning down for purchasing it (post-evaluation in lue). It's Seasonic created (read high top quality) with all Japanese capacitors, backed by a five year warranty. Powerful built-in prevention against trigger any damage beyond the PSU.It's actual max limit is 714.5W -- that's prior to it shut's itself down at 715W. It's lowest point of efficiency is 84.01% -- that's even though extremely smoothly running at 650W. It's cool operating even though loaded -- @ 652W and 45C intake => 53C exhaust. Overall has amazing critiques "for it's cost range;" but it's much less than that proper now for ๛ w/ rebate. Soon after seeing the TP-550 鹦W) version run a GTX480 SLI, Core I7 980X setup (see youtube), I'm convinced that this Antec TP series is officially evil. - Save for any post review badness it seems stellar. Parts on order (from here and elsewhere):cpu: i5 2500k ram: 8GB DDR3 1333 Mushkin Silverline Stilettogpu: MSI GTX 460 Fermi Cyclone 768MB mobo: MSI P67A-GD65 psu: Antec TruePower New TP-650 650Wcase: Coolermaster Storm Scout |

Plenty of energyMainly ModularQuiet Not completely modular This is a replacement for an Antec energy supply that I had that lasted five years with heavy use. I'm very please with how quiet this model is and the reality that it has modular capability given that I don't have a ton of peripherals to energy. It would be good if it was entirely modular so I could get rid of the 2 or 3 cables I don't want in my program.Overall it's great and has the excellent I anticipate from Antec and from a item supplied by Newegg! |

Had 4 6-pin pcie connectors which I required for the sli (nvidia cards) desktop create I was performing. Steady energy, all the connectors and far more. Fan is quiet, a lot additional so than in my other desktops. There is a selector on the power line that permits for 3 fan speeds. Fan is quieter than I expected operating on high. Only partially modular, but not a massive con so 5 stars. I would have preferred a little diverse hardwire combo, but not truly an issue. I would get yet another of these since I have had great experiences with Antec over the years and this ps was no exception. |

Modular, quiet fan, stable voltage on each and every rail, silent. Lasted a small over a month. Antec consumer support is one of the worst I have ever observed in my whole life. RMA method feels like its been done sort of complex on propose. They received the fried PSU over 3 weeks ago. Still no news for me as of right now. Not even a message confirming they have received it or that they are already working on the replacement, etc. Yes, I would take my small business some location else subsequent time. I honestly think Antec is not the company I would like to do business with once more. This was a 1 time experience to understand why my co-workers also hate Antec. Manufacturer Response:Hi Ralphy, my name is Eric and I am the Antec sales representative. I checked our RMA system and I couldn't discover your record. Please get in touch with me directly by e-mail at echen@antec.com, so I can assist you further. |

Semi-modular cables, very quiet fan, solid construction, lots of cabling selections, "Bronze" efficiency rating. Semi-modular cables. I mean, genuinely...it's nice to have some cables modular, but I nonetheless have spare cables in the case that aren't becoming applied. I don't like living on the edge, and would by no means intentionally push a power supply close to, never ever mind past, its rating. I'm maxing this 1 out at about 400W, and have been cautious to spread the load across the rails. But I've never ever had to replace an Antec energy supply, and I enjoy how quiet they are. Even when issues start to get a small warm, sure you can start off to hear it, but it never gets offensive. :)Not that I didn't believe them, but my watt meter confirms PF of .99-1. throughout loaded operation. |

Semi-(hybrid)-modular5 year warrantyQuality (it's a rebranded Seasonic)PriceQuiet and stableLooks great, too Not actually any actual cons as such Some reviewers have mentioned the use of so a lot of hard wired cables, but one need to maintain in mind the fact that everybody wants a specific minimum quantity of cables/connectors. Making everything modular except for the 24 pin motherboard connector would raise the cost of this unit by a significant percentage. Keep in mind that "you get what you pay for", and this PSU is a very good compromise for attributes, high quality and price. The unit I received was painted a matte black, and when installed in my Antec 902 case, just the embossed Antec logo shows. It's not fancy with flashy colors, but who cares?Running two HD 5830 in Crossfire, the 12V outputs all stayed within 1% of nominal , which is actually very great, and exhaust temperatures by no means rose above 50C, with the fan running quietly even though at max. Of course, my hearing isn't what it was 30 years ago, but noise levels had been really acceptable to me.Overall this is a good quality PSU, and at the price I paid from Newegg () it was a nobrainer. |

Umm... It worked for practically 2 minutes? It has excellent cabling, but so do all the other "modular" supplies. Lasted under 2 minutes. I got into the BIOS on my brand new create, then it suddenly turns off. Attempted to turn it on again but absolutely nothing. Turning the AC power input off then back on, the lights would flash and fans would barely commence up when the power button was pressed, then everything would go dark once again. Motherboard still lit up so it looks like it just couldn't deal with any load. I tried again with my previous Antec 650W power supply, and it didn't have any problems. A PSU that burns out less than 2 minutes in is an automatic grade of "F".This was the only component to fail in my whole build.I bought an Antec Accurate Power Trio TP3-650 over 2 years ago and it is still going powerful, in reality it worked where this 1 failed to. Hopefully it will last quite a few much more years in my wife's new hand-me-down rig. :)I went to my favorite electronics shop and bought a competitor's power supply and installed it, bringing my sad story to a pleased finish. Bring on the RMA. |
*Everything you need to have*Reliable*Excellent Brand *Not Modular*Cables are fairly thick and a mess Antec has always been recognized as a reliable brand, (besides for a small capacitor incident for a handful of months). On the other hand i've often had very good luck with them and have had this PSU for about 2 years now. The PSU provides a nice stable voltage and has often been dependable. but the cables are a mess, they are way to thick and Quite hard to keep neat. Either way it's a good selection, a bit pricey but it's worth it for a dependable brand
