had this for a while and i have no complaints about it. except for its basic but what do you expect for 10 bucksstill goin strong for me and if it breaks oh well just buy a new one there sooo cheap.

ive bought a few cheap keyboards in my day and most have dissapointed me but this Aopen for the price has been the best keyboard yet, by the feel of it you can tell its a quality board and not some cheap-o. Very happy with it, best board i've bought in this price category.

Hmmm... Well. I have been using this board for near 10 months now and have never had a problem. It's simple and it works. It's small, it's black, doesn't have a bunch of key's to annoy the heck of of you. I like space saving simple keyboard. This looks like a right one BUT.... Here is my honest review:The cable is too short: 132cm (cable length not including connector)Length of my 4 y/o 104 keyboard: 180cmMy another one seems longer.The size is 18"x6.7" which is not as compact as my 17"x5.5" keyboard. It looks a little jumbo on my desk.Don't you like big Enter key. Instead it has big |\ key. Its big backspace key is good.Make sure you don't mind the little issues above if you want it. You want your ten bucks worth.2 stars: works, won't purchase again!(shhh... this is not for me)

After hearing so much good things about this keyboard I've decided to buy one to try for myself. I personally own one logitech cordless and one Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard. The MS keyboard has been rated comfy by most users, but compared to this AOpen keyboard it's nothing.This AOpen keyboard is amazingly quiet. The key response is a tiny bit stiff for my taste but provides a very good feedback. It's in black so unlike the white ones it won't look dirty that easily. For the period that I've been graced with a Fujitsu 8725 at work (absolutely the godfather of fluent typing keyboard), I must say this AOpen keyboard is much more stylish and comparably comfy to the Fujitsu at a much lower price also!This keyboard, at entry level, of course has no special keys like the ones on MS Multimedia keyboards, however there is power/sleep/wake buttons that took the place of the traditional printscreen/scroll lock/pause, and those 3 are being pushed down to the position of the insert/home/page up. This in my opinion is a bad move and will take some time to get used to. Other than that, this keyboard has already replaced my MS multimedia keyboard on my keyboard tray. I will definitely consider this when I shop for my friend's bday present. I highly recommend this to anybody who enjoys a good typing!Edit: After a few days of typing, I feel that the keys are considerably stiffer than the MS keyboard I had. That makes it harder on my wrist without the palm rest. I enjoy the silence of typing, but not when it puts more stress on my wrist. I've ran a self typing test, turns out the MS keyboard is more fluent and I type 2wpm faster and makes 2% less typos. I believe I'll switch back to the microsoft multimedia keyboard. This is one good priced black keyboard to match you black system. IIRC, the letterings are not engraved on the keys so I don't know how long before it will come off.

This keyboard is absolutely awesome if you dont like the extra doo-dads and keys for web use etc.... The typing is very smooth and quiet! The keyboard takes up almost no deskspace and is very sleek. It comes with 3 extra buttons for sleep and stuff but they dont really get in the way. Awesome keyboard for the person who doesn't like big keyboards or has limited deskspace.

Its a standard Ps/2 keyboard. Not to good for overclocking, couldn't get the type speeds up that high (haha jking). good overall keyboard

what else can i say i love this keyboardbought 2 for my self, and recommend it to a friend of mine and he got hes and loving it.the keyboard is quite and simple and very light.i just noticed today that it have power, sleep, and wake button, its great i'm using them starting today now and its really convenient.

Over all I am quite happy with this keyboard. It's clean and sharp looking, doesn't cost much and feels quality.My only tiff was that the cord is too short for my setup (need about an extra foot). So now I have to get a ps2 cable extension. But, it's black and matches my other components, and when it comes to black keyboards, there isn't much to choose from that isn't $100 and wireless, or have 10 cheesy internet buttons on it.

This a great STANDARD keyboards, i like more then plain one at 6$ because fist at all it black and the key of the keyboard are very smooth. i recommend it because this is a great value and it worth it pay a little bit more for this one instead of the gerenic plain one. I dont like the power,sleep,wake key because i dont use it and some time your get goffy and touch it by mistake. that all , great value.
