Arctic Cooling Alpine 11 Pro CPU Heatsink Cooler LGA1155 LGA1156 LGA775 with 92MM PWM Fan
Cons:Very brittle plastic
Pros:Good price, easy to install, very quiet Comment:
When my computer arrived, it wouldn't turn on for more than 10 seconds because the CPU kept overheating. It turns out the plastic retention module broke, leaving the heatsink just dangling there. When I tried removing it, plastic just kept breaking off, including the fasteners that get inserted into the push-pins. As a result, I had to take my motherboard out in order to get the thing off. I'd recommend staying away from this heatsink and get a better quality one; or be very, very, very careful. |

Arctic Cooling Alpine 11 Pro CPU Heatsink Cooler LGA1155 LGA1156 LGA775 with 92MM PWM Fan
Cons:the quality of the material is poor
Pros:Same efficiency as stock one Comment:
Since the stock heatsink stop working, I replaced it with this alpine 11pro. When I was flowing the instruction to install the heatsink, the plastic part broke. I had to go back and exchange it. I barely fasten the screws for the second one. The efficiency is about same to the stock one, but it needs improvement on the quality of the material. |
Put this in an HTPC system. Very quiet. Bad instructions on how to assemble but easy enough to figure out. Took 2 times. Would recommend for an HTPC sytem cools better than stock and is quieter This review was modfied by poster @ 12-16-09 10:05 AM
