Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:None so far
Pros:Easily applied on processor. Comment:
I am used to using Arctic Silver 5, but this compound seems easier to apply. The temps went from 50s to high 30s in idle. I am using the stock heat sink fan for my i5 2500k but I am planning on getting a third party hsf as soon as I can. |

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:can't think of any
Pros:Non ConductiveEasy to applyLasts longer then normal silver based compoundsPrice Comment:
This is one of the highest regarded thermal pastes out there atm. Its easy to apply and lasts longer with less risks , altho if your smearing any thermal paste over your motherboard/video card pcb you prolly shouldn't assemble your own computer X) |

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:non so far
Pros:non conductivegood value Comment:
this thermal paste does its job. its non conductive so you don't have to worry if you screw up. picked this over mx-4 because i heard there is no noticeable difference and this one is cheaper. has enough paste for maybe 10 attempts if you are really bad at putting on the paste. |

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:The lid won't come off after i finished using 1/4 of it.. it's stuck. Kind of too watery, I'd prefer if it was more thick.
Pros:Non conductive, easy application, high quality and very good performance for price. Comment:
Very great thermal compound, after cleaning my STOCK heatsink, and re-applying this thermal compound, CPU temperatures went from a high 47 degrees celcius idle, to a comfortable 25 degrees celcius.. ON A F***CKING stock cooler. Overall impressed with this product, even though it's a little watery; I accidentaly put twice the amount (regular amount is the size of a pea), some spilled on my mobo, luckily it was NON-CONDUCTIVE, I would recommend this product, just be careful when applying, I obviously was not, and still got very comfortable temperatures. |

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:none
Pros:low viscosity, easy to apply Comment:
There are better thermal compounds but you pay for them... For the price, this is a good deal. The low viscosoty of this makes it easy to apply, just dab on a little bit according to what is recommended for your processor (line, 'grain of rice')and attach you heat sink. The low viscosity means it will easily spread over the CPU whne pressue is applied. Also it does not need a break in period. I've used in on at least 4 processors so far and there is enough left for several more. |

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Pros:Easy to use. Keeps cool.
Comment:
Bought this compound on sale. Use'd it for a year already and does a really great job. Keeps my overclocked CPU has cool as it was 1 year ago when I installed it with my heatsink. |
This stuff boasts excellent 5.6W/(mK) thermal conductivity, and 850 poise rating for viscosity. Not bad for a metal free non conductive paste! If you are choosing between this and AS5 or PK1 note that all of them are within 1 degree of each other. The same variances can be made by over or under applying paste or using an incorrect application method.
