Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:-None
Pros:-Non Conductive-Works as advertised Comment:
Great paste for the price. Because its non-conductive you don't have to worry about shorting anything out, and it took very well to the heat sink. I took off the heat sink to see how it spread, good coverage with a smaller than pea size drop (intel, + cooler with backplate). Not to thick, was easily spread down with the standard force of putting in my Coolit ALC, at least I didn't feel like I had to push unnecessarily hard. |

Pros: Lowers temperatures Comment:
Have used this for close to a year on my XPS M1330 which has a defective nVIDIA graphics card which overheats. Has significantly lowered temperatures and haven't had much overheating issues since. |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:
None
Pros: Easy to useReduces temperature significantly Comment:
I price matched this and saved roughly $5.00. It does what it advertises: it reduced my internal cpu temperature by about 5-10 degrees Celsius. It was easy to apply and I still have plenty remaining after the first application. |

Pros: Very good temp vs stockEasy installation Comment:
Yep, this thermal past is my new #1 choice. Always used another product. But this one is like all in one, easy install, great temp and NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive ! But will only buy with a promo/special. Because it's costly. |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:
A little expensive but well worth it.
Pros: Easy to applyNot messy. Comment:
After using this compound four times already I have to say it's very easy to apply. What I mean is that it is easy to control and spread even. Scraping it down with a credit card to just the right amount is easy and clean.Much nicer to work with than other compounds I have tried in the past.Worth every penny in my opinion. |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:
Price when not on saleToo bad they don't have a 30G tube of this :P
Pros: Great price on sale,ReliableNo cure timeGreat temperaturesLasts! Comment:
MX-3 has shown great results on mine and others' computers so far - it helps keep my 1055T + Xigmatek Dark Knight push-pull below 55C load at 4Ghz+. I'd consider it a prime choice for computers that have to be up and running right away (no time for curing) and for custom-built computers for clients.I'd still get this over MX-4 right now due to the price on NCIX which is nominally the same (or in my case, lower) and it still performs about 1° better. At the moment considering prices I wouldn't trust anything other than MX-3 or the similar and usually cheaper MX-2.They last awhile too; I bought this today to replenish because the tube I bought back in October '09 is at about half a gram left, so it lasts quite a few applications. |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:
A bit high priced considering Arctic Silver 5 (though older and more generally worse performing) is about half it's price before PM..
Pros: Pretty good performance as many reviews highlight, definitely better than stock Comment:
Very good choice if you're looking to shave a few degrees from operating temperatures of your components, though price might be a bit high especially with MX-4 being in the market.. |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:
None
Pros: PerformanceLifespan durabilityEasy to remove Comment:
Ran out of my MX-2 so I decided to try this. Performance was around 1-2 degrees better so that's not bad, I see they have MX-4 now though so go figure. One minor thing I could say is that I found it didn't spread as nicely as MX-2, when inspecting the heatsink/cpu after install. But it didn't seem to hurt performance any, but take note if you are going to spread this manually. |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:
A bit pricy.
Pros: Performance, ease of application. Comment:
Nothing negative about this one, the temps are a bit lower than mx-2 but the application ease is much better, it spreads around much better than the 2.Excellent for water blocks and for use instead of thermal pads for ram chips on vid cards. Supojb! :P |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:
messy if you don't know how to use it
Pros: easy to work withkeeps cpu cool Comment:
I've tried using this on a cpu when putting together an old mobo/cpu/fan to sell off. I've never used thermal paste before, but this stuff was easy enough to use. There is also a gauge on the barrel to indicate if you are starting to run low.Totally worth it if you need to keep your units cool! Sometimes it goes on sale, keep your eyes on the lookout. |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:
None. All thermal paste is messy, if you're messy.
Pros: Easy to work with, seems to work as advertised. Comment:
This stuff seems to work quite well. I didn't do any testing, but my cpu cooler fans seem to run a bit slower than they did with the stock paste. I'm not a 'believer' per se but if you can get this on sale it can't hurt to try. I would buy it again if it were on sale. The MX-2 was on sale recently so I bought it instead. I'll see if they are comparable. |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:
ExpensiveNot as thick to MX-2
Pros: Keeps CPU/GPU/NB cool Comment:
I bought this to try out. Compared to the MX-2 I've been using for some time now.The temp difference compared to the MX-2, is about 1-3c cooler on average on all three zones, CPU/GPU/NB.Its not a bad investment for a few degrees cooler. |

Pros: good temps, pretty cheap, easy to apply Comment:
I tested quite a few thermal pastes, and this and IC DIAMOND are the best 2. This actually seems to beat IC DIAMOND by 1-2c...unless my ambient changed...don't think so, tried to keep the same...good stuff |

Keeps the CPU at a great temp, I got it on sale so it was the same price as the MX-2. But wow what a difference! 40 C is an amazing temperature to have a 6 core processor at, If you want to spend the extra to get this, I recommend it! |

Pros: Does the job, great price Comment:
It's tough to review thermal paste as all of it seems to perform similarly. That being said, this stuff is top notch and I would buy again anytime. For the price you certainly get a lot of thermal paste and it works extremely well. |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:
Come out of the tube WAY too fast, be careful
Pros: Cools well, spreads well Comment:
So far so good, cant tell if it works better than MX-2 but it doesn't work any worse. It is very viscous and come out of the tube super fast so be careful that you don't blow your load all over your CPU. |

Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram
Cons:

Pros: Keeps my AMD 955BE very cool idle and under loadEasy to spread Comment:
I've usually bought Arctic Silver 5. In my opinion this performs much better. My AMD 955BE is 26degrees (idle) and 28degrees (load) on stock settings. i had to apply and reapply this paste on my chip 3 times (do to my own errors and my annoying cooler that was giving me a hard time) and i must say it is very easy to clean off and re-apply. i usually use the one drop in the middle of the chip method but it is much better to use a little card or razor blade to spread it out very thinly across the whole chip then add your cooler. running my chip at 4.0ghz right now and it is at 32degrees idle, hits about 39 degrees on full load. great product, highly recommend this paste. (using Zalman 9700 cooler) |
Have built many machines useing this paste this is my third tube and plan on replacing with the same paste when the time comes.
