This did the trick perfectly. All the paste has been removed right after a handful of drops and a wipe.Newegg Volume Saving are great. None I bought this solution to remove stubborn thermal paste that had migrated to the BGA for an Xbox 360 GPU. I tried alcohol/paint brush and alcohol/queue tips with no luck. Right after a couple hours I realized I required solvent that would emulsify thermal paste. I tried 2 or 3 hours with alcohol. This product did the work in a minute, with quite small effort on my aspect.

Worked like a charm! The only con I can consider of is it turns the compound into liquid, so if your compound is conductive to electricity and it gets on the mb there could be a difficulty. Just use widespread sense, and avoid paper towels in the 2nd stage mainly because they leave paper lint. Use a coffee filter or microfiber cloth.
