Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 CPU BX80571E5200I shoved this bad boy into a Shuttle barebone and loaded up Linux because WinDOZE XP SP2 just would deal with all the SATA and fast stuff... This thing screams! It runs everything just fine, and even left on 24/7, it runs cool... for $74 this was an awesome deal! |

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 CPU BX80571E5200got this proc as a swap for an e2200 for a barbone kit....it scores a 5.4 on vista performance with 3 gigs of ram and a ati3870 vc.....runs l4d at 45fps and crysis at 33fps....but do not listen to the reps on this site as they said it would sub in for the e2200....it did not....put the e5200 in a compac sr5502fh and put the e2180 in the barbones kit and now the compac scores a 5.0 on vista performance limited by the ram...guess what i am trying to say is look up the swaps that the rep suggest before u let them charge u because it prob. will not work |

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 CPU BX80571E5200I personally did not buy this processor from Tiger, but it is still the same thing. The max mine will boot at is 3.75ghz @ 1.4V, which isn't the best, but its not the worst either. I can get it running at 2.56ghz (9 x 285) at 1.09375V stable, and 3125mhz (12.5 x 250) at 1.23V. I personally see no performance increase right now from an overclock, but the temperatures go up by as much as 5C. It is a great processor for the price, a great upgrade from an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice, I can feel the system running over 4x as fast on some things. |

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 CPU BX80571E5200I'm an overclocking junkie. Bought 2 of these E5200s at $85ea. I used Intel DG45ID MBs. I wanted to build two very stable servers for work on a moderate budget. I had no intention of turning this setup into a screamer and using Intel MBs guaranteed I wouldn't even be able to OC this setup. When I put the server software on I saw it was impossible to bury this supposed Chevy economy CPU on anything even running AV with Spybot simultaneously. So for funzies I loaded Vista64 on a HD just to test the performance of the onboard HDMI with my HD Fusion HDTV PCIe card. This CPU with 4GB memory cranked out 5.4 for the CPU on the Vista performance test, a 5.1 memory test, 5.7 on the HD transfer test. I would have been happy to get those numbers with a CPU costing twice as much. This CPU is outstanding. It plays my HDTV recorder at max resolution in real-time, no time-shift. At $73 and at 2.5 GHz it's a steal. I'm using this new setup for my home entertainment center instead. |

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 CPU BX80571E5200Amazing value....just heads up..... Having it paired with foxconn p45a-s (no multiplier change option but super stable, great layout) crucial ballistix tracer 1066 2x1GB 150G raptor running at 280 x 12.5 @ 1.2v = 3.5GHz 24h stable on orthos runs SUSE 11 and vmware workstation Great gamer for far less than it's bigger brothers I own xeon 3110 (xeon clone of E8400) and there is no difference in gaming, almost unnoticeable lag in encoding Make sure your mobo bios supports 45nm Wolfdales Enjoy |

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 CPU BX80571E5200Amazing processor. Incredible value for the money. The increased multiplier is perfect for overclocking. Took 5 seconds to get it running at 3 Ghz. I noticed a big improvement with the extra 1mb of L2 cache in big games like Crysis... I got roughly a 10 fps boost (I have an 8800 GT that is also overclocked.) Amazing processor, basically a core2duo for $40 less. |

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 CPU BX80571E5200Provided CPU fan rubbed against heatsink- resulting in a not exactly quiet experience. Going to see if Intel will respond to query about quality. Could be a result of the 4 'pop in' pieces which secure it to motherboard attaching too tightly. |
Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 CPU BX80571E5200Ok, this is my first build and post, though I didn't buy any thing from tiger Dir., but my vid card . I went to a local pc store, for easy replacement if needed. It cost more money for parts, but being my first build, I feel that the build went fine. I have a Asus P5gc-mx /1333 mobo. built in 12.5 multi. Board is built for ocing. bios were updated out box.4.11. E5200 oced to 3253.Mhz.bus speed 260.2Mhz, rated fsb 1041.Mhz. core volt 1.256V. I didn't mess with the Voltage at all. stock fan.2g mem melco ddr2-sdram, pc25300 33mhz ddr2-666mhz. Nvdia Ge Force 9500gt, thanks tiger dir. nice card and cheep price. it rocks warcraft, fram rate is nuts.and a 450 w Power S. I know this is not the best this e5200 can do but it runs stable and cool. at 3.2 G.I had read some on ocing in the mobo bios, but dont think I should mess with the voltage till i get a diff. fan. It runs fine as is ,and I might just leave it alone, as I have read messing with power level might lessen life of cpu. Any thoughts?
