Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 Processor BX80580Q9400 CPU works great. For fear of breaking my two hundred dollar MoBo, I gave up on trying to install the stock fan using the push pins. Instead, I purchased an equivilant CPU fan that uses a backing plate. Intels' main competitor has a far better way to connect a CPU fan.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 Processor BX80580Q9400 I bought this processor to upgrade an original Pentium 4 and I must say I am amazed by the performance. Used the processor with OCZ DDR3 memory and a Supermicro motherboard and had no problems enabling virtualization for XP mode with Windows 7. I wish I would not have waited so long to make the jump to the Core 2 Quad.

ASUS P5N-D nForce 750i SLI Motherboard Where to start with my headache? Well this wasnt my mobo of choice, but the gigabyte mobo i wanted was sold out. SO i thought this would be sufficient. The bios is not very feature rich. The mobo runs hot. Drivers are a pain. Had to experiment with different drivers for the mobo sound. Tried the latest drivers on the ASUS site, fail. Tried the drivers on the realtek site, fail. Tried the drivers from windows updates, fail. Eventually I had to go with an older driver to remove the hissing sound. The nvidia chipset drivers were a minor pain for various reasons. Here we are under a year from the date of purchase, and the mobo is now dead. I was planning an upgrade to a Core i7 860 around the time this started to die anyways, so I didnt bother with the RMA processes.

I was weary at first, but it has turned out that this was a very good deal indead. Processor serves on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 R2 with 8 gigs of ram. Product is worth the buy and far exceeds the purpose I was looking for. Great deal in my book.

It also allows me to have a virtual machine running dual-core while my machine runs dual core. Very nice. Quick ship. Works nicely with a XFX 750I-SLI mobo. I truly recommend this CPU.

ASUS P5N-D nForce 750i SLI Motherboard One issue, the supporting CD would not work with windows 7 64bit The board support hot swaping of the SATA hardrives, means that a sata harddrive for data in a removable tray can be powered on or off with no trouble and acts like USB Another issue, computer shtting completely down with intensive cpu usage. The problems looks like an underpowered power supply (400 watts) am getting a 750 watts model to see if the problem will be resolved. Easy to overclock. Am overclocking 15% with no trouble increasing an intel quad from 263 g to 3.08 gig with no problem.

ASUS P5N-D nForce 750i SLI Motherboard The board that I received works and works good. No real big headaches. Only one minor problem and that was with a wireless card and that wasn't the boards fault(bad antenna). So yeah does what it is supposed to do.

ASUS P5N-D nForce 750i SLI Motherboard I must say that I am not a computer genius. This is the first computer I have built. The Asus P5N-D motherboard. I found that this is an easy install board pretty much you have to not understand where the components go to not get it to work. But for a guy who is in his 50s and built his own computer for the first time in his life. well I am pretty pleased with the installation ease of use and accessibility on the board. With a socket silent 775d cpu fan. Temps for all this work runs around 80 to 100 degrees constant. And man is this fast.I cant say anything but positive about my ASUS experience.

Put this into a new build (Gigabyte EP45-UD3P, 4g GSKILL DDR2, WD Caviar Blue 500g). Running Win7, Vista, Linux and XP on multiple partitions, with no problems on any. Sadly the store had run out of q9550 so i had to buy this even thou i still recomend u buy the q9550 this is still a great CPU. Its not the best ocer and the fan is somewhat unsturdy. Its fast thou css 100fps tf2 80fps both games maxed out crysis warhead d.10 1440by900 no aa or af 40s fps but remember this i have lowly ddr2 at 1066 ram which underclocks the cpu by a lot highly recomended for budget gamer looking for a good quad core.

ASUS P5N-D nForce 750i SLI Motherboard Not sure why everyone is saying that this is a bad overclocker. Was able to gain more than a 40 percent overclock with the E8400 EASILY (3 to 4.2). DDR timings are at 4-4-4-12 at 800 mhz. Though the only problem with this is that the supported memory speed is quite slow. Do not buy this if you already have as even 1mhz over 800 is unstable. PS. This motherboard can unlink the ddr frequency and FSB. Also allows one to set the maximum value for the frequency just for those who are wondering.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 Processor BX80580Q9400 Bought tree of these as upgrades from P3's. I7's & I5's are still a bit pricy for not a great deal of increased performance. These run great. I do a lot of video rendering for my classes and it zips through them very well.

ASUS P5N-D nForce 750i SLI Motherboard One word GARBAGE. Customer service is non-existent. Reps are rude and worthless. I will not buy another Asus product again. I am unable to use a Creative Labs audio card. It either does not recognize it, or will not have any sounds. The on board audio is GARBAGE. Asus is GARBAGE!

I don't know much about them my computer guy said this was what I needed and I bought it so he could install it. I have ready on here about the bios and the graphics and I do know there were problems with this as well however the system needs more work and so I don't have a real review yet.
