Does what I needed, converts 1 sata energy into 2. ? Kind of funny when I call the techie at the super deep electronics store in town to see if they stock these, and he goes a single step further and tells me that they don't exist. Honestly. |

Ok much more than two words:It works, and really nicely I may possibly add.Fits really nicely on the drive. This is my favored, and the primary explanation I bough this cable: It is the only SATA power cable that really has a SATA male connector. Most other people are molex to SATA. On old cables that implies that if you have a device that essentially requires energy off the three.3V line, it won't work. You don't will need to route a Molex power cable to the HDD zone of your case.In contrast to the heavy cables from the PSU, these spot virtually no pressure on the drive's power connectors.Appropriate angle on the drive end; very beneficial for clean cable management. Could be a pro, depends on how you see it: these point North when plugged in the drive. If you purchase this cable, you most most likely have at least 2 SATA drives which are most probably stacked on leading of each other, with the connectors being about one particular inch apart. So why then isn't one particular end 1" longer(or shorter) than the other. this lead to a bit of cable bulge, but it's not a fantastic adequate cause to take an egg of the rating. Still five eggs. I got two of these to. My original plean was to have these pointing North and "meet" the PSU cables at the bottom of the case. A slight rewirking of the program was needed, but absolutely nothing main.I got them due to the fact the PSU SATA cables have been placing far too substantially strain on the drives' SATA power connectors, and there was no way to prevent that. I've in fact had to RMA a couple of drives a whilst ago mainly because the plastic notch broke off due to the pressure, and the power connector shifted just enough to send a power spike by means of the drive that hit a different drive on the exact same rail. Each had been instantly dead.Horror aside, these cables aloow me to protect against just that. I have five drives stacked on top of each and every other (ư more), and no challenge powering them.Anybody who has more than a single SATA drive need to truly look into obtaining this cable. It's inexpensive, and can save you a lot of problems down the road. |

Looked like great operate, excellent good quality. Nothing genuinely. Shipping is so astounding, each my hard drives, and these cords made it in a single day, or a day and a half if you like. Wow, I guess the Memphis to Mobile run is actually efficient. And as usually NewEgg is the clear winner in on the web sales. |

This is an great tiny adapter. I have only 2 sata power connectors on my power supply, and one of them broke. Which made my plans of installing a RAID array disappear. This does exactly what I required. Turns 1 15-pin sata power connector into 2!! None |

Eliminates additional cables and tidies up my case. None. Working with the cable with two 250GB SATA I challenging drives in a RAID1 application. My PSU has a cable management technique which has two SATA power connectors per cable. I would have necessary one more cable attached to the PSU in order to power the second tough drive. The other connector that is on the cable is in use. |

It is what it is. It does what it's supposed to do. None. I ordered this and although I was searching for some placement screws I discovered that I currently had a single. It's fantastic to have an additional anyway.
