Needed if you want to use USA HD TV overseas

I bought this since I will be using a USA HD TV overseas. In the USA the video signal is NTSC whereas, overseas it may be PAL. Tested the conversion from a PAL composite video signal and this product did the conversion and up scaled to 720p. Have tried up scaling from component video signal (NTSC - 480i) and that worked well too. Though pricey wanted to make sure my TV will work overseas.
