Cons:Picture quality not as good as my Haupauge card but then it was 1/4 the price, Remote worked hap-hazardly from 20 ft away in our living room
Pros:Price on $40 on sale, Can use it to record tv, Works with Win 7 Media Center, Comes with a remote works fine in our bedroom at the limit of its specified range of 8ft |
I thought I'd take a chance and see if it was any good. I can say that it does everything it's supposed to do just picture quality not quite as good as I hoped it would be. remote wouldn't pick up the reciever in our living room, to far away, but worked fine in our bedroom 8 to 10 ft. Only recently installed it and got it working so still getting to no how it works. Good cheap alternative to the Haupauge I have, and now I can record more TV that I never seem to have time to watch !!!Probly wouldn't buy again if I had the choice as my other one records at a much higher picture quality. Sometimes you just get what you pay for.
