This was purchased to be used with a laptop because I was running low on USB ports and it works fine, if you need to add any high current USB devices then the adapter that it comes with will need to be connected. Other than the bright LED on the hub which I taped over to reduce the brightness there are no issues. |

Cons:3 ports on 1 side, 1 on the end, not much on the other sides. Would be better with 2 ports on each side and then usb to computer and AC connection on the narrow side.

Bought two of these on sale 12.99, one was DOA, kept detecting as generic usb device, swaped it for new one works fine. Mounted to shelf with dollar store velcro, good way to tidy up a mess of usb cables.
