BELKIN F6C750-AVR 750VA 400W UPS - Retail
Cons:Only 4 of the 6 plugs are backed up
Pros:Great price (when on sale), decent size and good amount of reserve Comment:
Bought this for my Home Entertainment System to protect it from the little power drops we get. I am not using the software so I can't comment on that but it works to protect my cable box, xbox and TV from loosing power. |

BELKIN F6C750-AVR 750VA 400W UPS - Retail
Cons:Alarm that had to be shutoff each time the unit starts. I could not keep the alarm off with the provided software or by pressing the on/off button for 'less than 1.5 seconds'
Pros:Works fineEnough outlets to plug items intoNice design and weight Comment:
I bought this for my grandmothers electric lift chair so she wouldn't be stuck in a power outage. No really, I did.Anyhow, the alarm beeped every minute and I couldn't turn it off permanently. The alarm was actually soldered right onto the circuit board. I used a small screwdriver to pull out the innards of the buzzer and put the whole unit back together. This morning I tested it on my computer and the computer went 14 minutes . I just did some mild internet usage for that time. |

BELKIN F6C750-AVR 750VA 400W UPS - Retail
Cons:only 4 UPS plugs
Pros:Nice design Comment:
Not a bad UPS for the money - I bought for my folks.. Good enough to get you to give a controlled shut-down when the power goes out. There is 6 plug-ins but only 4 are UPS, the other two do have surge protection however. Good to get if you experience brown-outs like my parents do in Cache Creek all the time. |
I got it on sale and it was cheap. It does it's job, it keeps the computer on during a flash outage. Problem is... not enough plug ins but at least comp stays on now. 4 outlets i find is just too little. Oh well, it does it's job regardless and for the price i paid, i think it was worth it. I don't think it will work very well for a high end system though so just beware of that. Note that there hasn't been a blackout yet since i got it.
