BELKIN F8Z179 TuneFM
Cons:
FM transmission
Pros: Price[got in for $19.99]compatibility.charger as well. Comment:
have been using it with Iphone 4, Ipod Nano and a 30gb 2nd Generation Ipod. It works fine with all, no issues there. FM transmission isn't the best, but I got it for $20, so can't complain much. |

BELKIN F8Z179 TuneFM
Cons:
The signal is not that great, i get buzzing almost on every radio freq, the previous transmitter was a lot better.
Pros: Its really good that it has a charger, my previous FM Transmitter didn't have that option. Comment:
Overall it's okay, would be a lot better if they can get rid of the buzzing and interruptions from radio stations. |

BELKIN F8Z179 TuneFM
Cons:
-Does not broadcast a strong signal when being powered by my iPhone 3GS.
Pros: -Portability-Works adequately (when powered) Comment:
I bought this to replace the clunky FM transmitter from the old-school days which took up more space and was more of a pain to set up. I was also attracted to the fact that this can be powered solely by your iPhone/iPod as an attachment. Unfortunately the device does not transmit a very strong signal when just being powered by your iPhone (in my case a 3GS which I will note is not listed as being supported) which kid of kills the premise of portability. The charging attachment is pretty unobtrusive so I don't mind keeping it powered to get a decent signal strength (while also charging my iphone). It is still easier to deal with than my last FM transmitter so I will continue to use it, and for 15 bucks I can't really complain. |

BELKIN F8Z179 TuneFM
Cons:
weak signal
Pros: looks nicebright display Comment:
So i bought this under the assumption that my ipod would broadcast with the same strength and clarity of the local radio stations. BIG MISTAKE!when you can find a channel that actually works, the signal is so weak and so distorted by static that its not even worth listening to. I am going to fiddle around with it some more and see if the clarity improves. Doubtful though. |

BELKIN F8Z179 TuneFM
Cons:
Little bigger than an iPod Nano (6th gen).
Pros: Easy to use, works perfectly. Comment:
It's supposed to work as an FM transmitter and it does it perfectly!Belkin, by the way, doesn't even say on their website that TuneFM supports iPod Nanos. |
sounds amazing, sometimes i wouldnt even be able to notice if i was listen to music that was being played through an AUX cable or this fm tuner, thats how amazing it is. you just need to take a few mintues to find a clear station, then itll sound amazing. sometimes there is some feedback, but i cant complain, this fm tuner is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
