Good video card
Comment:
Didn't quite fit in my PCI slot, but it really made the graphics great on my computer. I ended up returning it for a Dual DVI monitor card.(ATI Radeon HD 4650). Had a tough time getting it to work correctly the first few times for some reason. |

Great for a HTPC
Comment:
I purchased this for a single-core machine that was to be used as a home theater PC for the bed room. The video was very, choppy with the on-board video card. I did struggle a bit with the drive that came with this card. I ended up downloading it. After installation, I am very happy with the output of the S-video to a tube TV. I can only imagine this card in a dual core machine with DVI output. Got mine for about 51 USD delivered. Would purchase again for another build. |

Works.. but not great
Comment:
I ordered this card to replace an old BFG 5200 AGP, because my AGP slot burned out. I also tried to run Oblivion, as guruxus did, but I couldn't even touch it at minimum resolution, got like 10 fps in small rooms.. this may be due to my processor not being top speed (2.0 single core), but I would not at all call this card 'flexible'. My old BFG card STILL works after 5 years, its a great card, and I would still buy another BFG product, however I do not recommend this particular card. |

Best Buy for My Money
Comment:
I upgraded to Windows 7 and the monitor looked a little sick. It was a little on the green side. My Network Tech at work suggested I upgrade my video card and he assisted me with the specs. He recommended this product and it has made a tremendous difference. I'm not a gamer, but the color is fantastic. Thanks . |

Great Upgrade!
Comment:
I bought this card as an upgrade from a BFG Geforce 6200 since the specs state it is 2X faster than the 6200, I have not seen 2X the speed for Video Playback at higher resolutions, however I am now able to play games that I could not play with the 6200. The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion would crash every 5 minutes with 6200, but no crashing at all with 8400, WOO HOO!! I would recommend this Video Card as a suitable upgrade at a very good price. |

Good video card
Comment:
Bought 2 of these cards to upgrade 2 older puters. Disabled onboard video in Device manager then installed boards, booted, loaded drivers, and then updated Direct-X. No glitches on install. Both work fantastic for dual monitor setup and able to free up system memory so puters run much faster now. Sorry I missed the $20 price drop. Fan is a little flimsy but is quiet and runs cool. |

BFG Tech GeForce 8400 GS BFGE84512GSP Video Card
Cons:Loud fan
Pros:Dual monitor supportWorks very well in the PCI slot Comment:
Trying to keep a silent system but the small fan is pretty loud. Have three monitors, may move up to four. A cheap video card to support two more monitors while allowing windows media center to function. |

Heatsink and pcb
Comment:
Theres a slimmer version of the graphics card pcb with the new G98 8400gs gpu. The cooler just suks for cooling the gpu, might wanna buy a gpu cooler that can cool the gpu a bit better. BTW u can fit a X700se sapphire video card heatsink cooler on it. |

good performce,one concern
Comment:
card seems to have good performance. fan is not anchored well to the board and sometimes vibrates causing some noise. |
