Performs wonderful. Applied my current P4 processor, gained a pci-e slot so I was able to upgrade to a current video card (GTX 460). I had to put in DDR2 RAM given that my old P4 board employed DDR. But DDR2 is cheap now. This board operates great so far and revived an old method to wonderful efficiency. I can't assume of any. You can't ding a board for specs, particulaly one particular made to maintain older elements in play. Installed promptly, no concerns at all. Automatic driver installation on the CD was a good touch. I am considering of obtaining yet another 1 of these for a different P4 system I have that would advantage from pci-e graphics and two a lot more SATA ports.

Simple Interface, Easy set up, Affordable, Durable,Dual-channel ddr2 assistance, 4 Sata three.0gb/sand far more none so far It's a excellent motherboard, don't let the value or manufacturer name fool you into thinking it's a bad motherboard, it's very decent, I've been operating a three.2ghz Intel Pentium 4 Dual-Core processor and 2 sticks of 2GB ram with dual-channel ((which the motherboard supports!!)) and it's extremely really smooth and the bios controls are as great as my other pcs msi 890 series, it's a quite fantastic item.

Gave me the ability to revive a P4 three. ghz processor and use 800mhz memory. PCI-e x16 slot . Plenty of sata2 ports and the IDE slot created it much easier to scrap the old HP that the processor came out of. Booted appropriate up and auto recognized both the processor and memory speeds. Loaded Windows quickly. So far I'm pleased. No PCI-e x1 slot. Why not have one? Not a big deal for me but have been holding off obtaining this because I wanted the x1 slot for a wireless card. Bought this MB when the AsRock board was deactivated. Would also have been good to have a second IDE slot to make scraping the old HP even much easier on the pocket. Knocked it down an egg mainly because of these issues. You may possibly have to purchase a new power supply with this board. My old HP utilised a 20pin and this needs the 24 pin power connector. That's 1 reason for having to do so but I would also like to mention it could not be a poor thought anyway. IMO manufacturers usually develop their systems on the affordable and absolutely nothing kills laptop components like lack of power.
